Hi Melinda. I am excited to see another small town Texas girl in class. Have you always lived in a small town? We moved here from Round Rock eleven years ago. I love it. I get how busy it is to work full time and be a single mom. My husband and I separated two years ago next month. Most of the time it is me and my gang of seven blessings. It doesn’t leave much time for extras. I will definitely be keeping you in my prayers. I loved your statement about a Christian liberal arts education giving you the ability to not only think on your own but doing so intellectually while keeping Christ first. Having been in the medical field many years ago, it always seemed we were required to choose faith or science. I think given time, science
I also don't own the idea, it was requested to me by the wonderful Amanda. Thank you so much! I hope I did this idea justice.
At the same time: Snap-Whoosh-Growl-Snap-Whoosh-Growl! Return with a fierceness, causing the rest of the men to separate into two groups with some moving to the left in search of the origin of the beastly sounds and the others moving to the right, combining their numbers with those searching for their missing brethren, while Gottlieb stays behind.
I guess you want to know all the sordid details huh ? Hmmm. Well. Let me start with an introduction to the scenario. I'd already had a slave before but she wasn't behaving so I had to cut the bitch loose. It was a real shame. She was a real looker too. But oh well. I was cruising the bar circuit as is my usual. I went to the downtown core to scope out my next target but from what I saw there was nothing interesting around until the wee hours of the night when I was getting in my car and this young lady asked me for a light for her cigarette. Oh she was a looker, just like the one before. Long blonde hair that cascaded to the middle of her back, a generous pair of tits and wow, what a pair of legs. I was so stunned by her I almost forgot why I went out that night. I remember giving her a light so I'd have an excuse to strike up conversation. Just enough to stall her from leaving. She'd agreed to gab a bit so we both had a cigarette and talked in my car. The night air was a little cool so I turned on the car to keep us
Scientism is the view that knowledge of reality should only be gained or is best gained through the scientific process or research. This statement though sounds logical; it implies that something cannot be known or believed if it is not scientifically gained knowledge. Scientism is not science; it is a view about knowledge. Scientific statements are facts, but statements of facts cannot explain moral and ethical judgments that evaluate facts claims as being good or bad. It is therefore important to distinguish between scientific claims (90% of Americans think racism is wrong) and values (racism is wrong). Science forms a part of ethical or ought statements but these statements goes beyond what science offers. Not making this distinction leads to the fallacy of obtaining an ought from an is. Relativism is another viewpoint that upholds that there is no concept such as “the ultimate truth” and every belief or knowledge is relative to how it is perceived by an individual or culture. For, example things that Americans value or prioritize like independence or equality might be irrelevant in another culture. The adverse effects of concepts such as scientism and relativism has led to nonscientific claims being trivialized in the healthcare system. However new interest has been generated in spirituality in the healthcare system and Duke University has formed a center in 1998 to promote religion and spirituality in health through research (Grand Canyon University, 2015). This in my opinion is a much needed venture resolve these tensions as the Bible reminds us that in the last days even the elect may be
Walking out the door and find you there, still haven’t done your hair. Pull yourself together you tell yourself, it’s all the weather. Break your surroundings before you try, I swear you try. California can’t solve you, I can’t solve you. I’m a piece of you that could fall off, at any point.
A soft darkened sky draped across a blossoming landscape riddled with life that were homes to more than one.
As I sat in the car nervous as always I thought to myself “today's the day today you become a boy scout. Finally my dad broke the silence and said “you excited” I replied “yeah” after awhile of driving we arrived at the place where the ceremony was happening. I felt extremely anxious I kept trying to calm myself down but it did not work. After a while I calmed down and they eventually served us food it was great.and the we did skits and songs it was basically a huge party with skits, singing, and, dancing. after that they called us up by patrol which is a group of people also there were three different patrols so it took a little bit to get to me and they finally got to me, I felt so nervous, but at the same time proud of myself.i walked up to
“Oh, these old bones can’t take much more of this,” grumbled Millan Prink, as he rolled out of bed onto unsteady feet. “It’s bad enough that dear Laura left me eight years ago, bless her soul, but now I have to do all the work around here.” With a big sigh and a nod to the dreamcatcher above his bed, he went outside to his work.
-There becomes a moment in your life when time tends to fade as a past memory until you completely realize that up till now you just live in the past which means you haven’t live at all-. This thought has opened my eyes to the inevitable reality. I look at the cracked high ceiling and really don’t know who I was for about thirty strange seconds. I can’t even imagine how the past shapes my life for the last eighteen years. I feel that I just skipped the worst part of my life. And now I believe that time itself had erased my memory. You think it strange, but it had.
The warm morning sun lit up the spring skies. The chapel was lit only by the dwindling sunlight seeping through stained glass windows which patterned the ground in fluorescent colours that danced along the cold marble floor. Massive pillars protruded from the ground, towering above the rich deep mahogany benches, and the fragile chandelier that shone like diamonds was dangling from the night sky on strands of web covered in dew. The rain swept through the exposed, cracked bricks and wind whispered through the unkempt grass that protruded from the rotting wooden floor boards which was a ghoulish shade of decay, antiquity, as well as dissolution. A dark silhouette of figure lurked underneath the shadows.
Chaz’s parties are usually pretty enjoyable, but this one is a disappointment. I mean, Chaz can make anything cool, even chess and accordion music, but I’m not really digging it. I thought I could impress a girl named Brianna at this party, but it’s hard to make an all black outfit look stylish. I’ve had a crush on her for years and thought that since she is single now, I could try and make a move. Let’s just say it’s not going well. To make things even better, I noticed a guy that’s been eyeing her for the past hour. I’ve never seen this kid in my life, but I already hate him. I have to find out who he is.
Sophie clawed her way back into our hearts when she appeared on The Bachelorette, and we’ll soon get another dose of the blonde beauty -- as the host of Love Island.
I walked down the hall of Raymond Academy. I walked down until Faith grabbed me by the arm. I spun around and she dragged me into the nearest room. "What is going on?" I asked when she closed the door. "So? Are you going to tell me where this came from." She asked holding an envelope up. " Niro, what is that?" My voice sounded tired and confused.
“Ahem, Mr. Lopez?” came a feminine voice directly in front of me. I heard her clear her throat loudly, slowly tapping her fingers on my desk. “I hope I'm not interrupting anything important. I'd sure hate to be a bother.” Recognizing that disappointing tone of voice I internally panicked- my disguise had failed. I reluctantly looked up and locked eyes with my 7th grade math teacher, who was staring daggers at me. Before I even had the chance to mutter a half-baked excuse, she quickly reached over my textbook and grabbed the open copy of Harry Potter: Prisoner of Azkaban that I had actually been reading.
Hey my baby!! I'm missing you even more. Glad to know you made it safe your letter had me sad one minute then laughing the next.
