America is fine the way it is! You might not think that because everyone has there own opinions. The is always going to be a man or woman who thinks that they know what's best for america. Never say “The sky's the limit” when there is is footprints on the moon. There is always going to be a conflict somewhere in america. A war can be going on as you speak to somebody else. One small problem can turn the government or public into a disaster. Everyone has there own opinion not every man or woman thinks the same. Not everyone is from America, there is many different races. There might be different races from different countries but they join the army, navy, or special forces. They also fight for this country no matter what race you are. There is always going to be conflict, we all as american citizens can come together and stop that. To …show more content…
I am going to do that getting up everyday day doing what you do best. The small things count everyday, i don't take life for granted because they is always person near or far away that has ig off way worse then we all do. There is a male female that is fighting for my freedom each and everyday. I am going to go to college and be a car tuner. Being a car tuner is my biggest dream. I will open my own shop and then there will be job opportunities for other americans like myself. That will also help the government and raise the job opportunities. If the people who will work with me like what they do, they should have the chance to go to college and get a degree. Then it will be a cycle for more job opportunities so then the homeless rate or the poor rate will go down because there is going to be more jobs. It may all not be easy but, a;; everyone needs to do is just put in the effort. Everyone should get to feel the experience of a rush, and by that i mean horsepower. To me it's like a drug because it's addicting. Im motivated to be the future of this nation, are
Dally you should not even think about killing yourself it will not solve anything and will only make thing worse for everybody who cares about you. I know that you will not believe this and think that the world is horrible and is not worth living in but I promise you that there is still good in the world. I know that you will say that there is not and that I am naive, but I was not the only one to see this even Johnny saw it as he was dieing. He wanted me to try to point this out to you but I knew that you would need more than just me and Johnny's persuasion so I got word from all of the gang and some idea of how to make things better.
“Land of the free and the home of the brave.” This line has represented the United States for decades. These words were captured in The Star Spangled Banner by Francis Scott Key and since 1913, the United States has adopted The Star-Spangled Banner as its national anthem. We have used the Red, White, and Blue as one of our nation’s symbols. It has fifty stars, to represent the number of states we have in our Union. The military pledges its allegiance to the flag and the country which it represents at all costs. We are the land of the free and the home of the brave, and we are proud to show it.
When it comes to the visions of America we tend to think of two sides. Thomas Jefferson and Ben Franklin. They each have their own unique way of saying what Americas Vision is.Thomas Jefferson 's vision of America is what we would call idealistic. Meaning it is ideal to be lived for and for which must always strive. He states in the Declaration of Independence that "All are created equal." Defining equality can be difficult because the meaning is always changing. It does not mean we are the same, but it does mean we all are granted the same rights and freedom. I believe that America is always struggling to live up to "all are created equal" but have yet to succeed at it. I think that America has not lived up to Jefferson ideal. If we look back it in time and compare to the present we are still dealing with some of the same situations. Race, Religions, etc. A quote from the Declaration of Independence states, "That they are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights, among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of happiness." Stating that every human deserves to have their own life, liberty, the pursuit of happiness if they do to wish so.
Founded by groups as diverse as indigenous Native Americans, Dutch merchants, English separatists, Spanish missionaries, French frontiersman and Africans – both free and enslaved – the country’s diversity stretches back four centuries” (9). America is an extraordinary country. In my opinion, America is the most diverse population and culture. However, exceptional does not necessarily mean better. I have never understood that some Americans have the mindset that they are ‘better’ than other countries. I generally like America, but that is enough for me. I don 't need it to be "better" than other places to be satisfied. I came here to have a better life, better education and to have a better home. However, if American history were full of lies they should make a wise action and should tell the truth and tell what really happened in the past. In my mind today is “Where do we find truth these days?” It is certainly not in the history a state teaches its children, or in the press that props up its leaders. Africans both free and enslaved and immigrants has freedom I just hope that, people of color and Americans have real unity and still respect each other in the future
The Founding Fathers once preached that the American Dream entailed the right to “Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness,” nothing more, nothing less (Declaration of Independence). For centuries, the American Dream meant having a good job, owning a house, having a nice family, and generally enjoying life the best way possible. As history progressed however, people started working toward achieving individualistic success by any means necessary. Go back to the 1930s in New York City one fine spring morning. A boy, Moss Hart, remembers that back then “wealth, rank, or an imposing name counted for nothing. The dream of the wonderful American consisted of having a decent chance to scale the walls and achieve what they wished” (Kamp 1). Now flash-forward a century into the year 2014. Today in America, success does not reflect how muc...
This is the essence of the pure idealistic approach one should take towards life and indeed the American dream.
Caitlyn Jenner has plans to tell her story in a new memoir that she is working on. According to Koco, Jan. 19, 2016, Caitlyn just signed a book deal with Grand Central Publishing, which is scheduled to come out in the spring of 2017.
America is different from other places, it always has been. The reason why is America has a vast variety of “…people from different nations, accustomed to different forms and habits of government, speaking different languages, and more different in their modes of worship.” America is an immense melting pot. Together they all help America strive in every field of technology, work, and life because of all of these differences. Thomas Paine’s characterization of America does not hold true today. Society in America is exceedingly different compared to 1791, the government is not impartial, the poor are overburdened, and the rich are extremely privileged.
It’s fall everyone and Halloween is coming.I would like to tell you that fall is the best season of all.
America has always been a country with different cultures, races, and people. Only, not everyone has been accepting of different kinds of people. A persons thoughts on another person can differ depending on a person's race, gender, or age. In Harper Lee’s, To Kill a Mockingbird, racial equality is nonexistent. The African Americans were treated like they weren’t people, and were totally isolated from the Maycomb, Alabama society. America will never achieve true racial and social equality because people are ignorant, have a history of being prejudiced, and are unjust.
Space travel isn’t worth the money we have been spending. Kennedy wanted to do more space travel, but I don’t think space travel is necessary. In Kennedy’s speech he talked about how we have to seek the unknown and find out what we don’t know. Kennedy was talking about space, but what about the ocean? We really don’t know that much about it and I think we should learn more about the earth we live on.
Look at the outcome with hard work he became the president. In the speech from the keynote address to the 2004 Democratic National Convention by Barack Obama he says “Through hard work and perseverance my father got a scholarship to study in a magical place, America……. I stand here today grateful for the diversity of my heritage.” (Obama 78,79) In America we have many opportunities other people don 't have such as scholarships, FAFSA, loans, and Financial Aid, but people have now gotten lazy and want the work done for them like how Glenn Llopis from the article “Why most people will never achieve the American dream” says “Today, you must be able to successfully navigate yourself through a filter…. they certainly are no longer capable of enabling it for you. That’s no longer their responsibility (and the truth is-it never was).(Llopis 2) This just explains how other people became so dependable on the government and bigger corporations to hand out the opportunities as a given with no effort and work, but obviously everything in life requires hard work. The American Dream for many other people can just be to have a shelter and be happy by being safe as well, not a fancy life for example in the poem “I Hear America Sing” by Walt Whitman he shows how Americans are very joyous and happy with their position “The Day what belongs to the day-at night the party of young fellows, robust, friendly, singing with open mouths their strong melodious songs.”(Whitman
Well, a place where to live is essential for everybody. Today I am going to show you a less expensive, practical and ecofriendly solution for this basic but indispensable necessity.
How hard is it to live the life of an American? Is the American Dream feasible? The American Dream is easily available for the people who are wanting to work hard, willing to stand up and be brave to express what they feel, and hopeful for the better as they live their life day by day, yet the American Dream isn’t easy to attain for some because they are afraid to fail, and they do not have any confidence. The American Dream is the idea of coming to the United States and believing that there is something better for you than what you had before coming to America. The American Dream is attainable for every American, but every American who wants the dream must follow these simple directions as being willing to work hard, willing to stand up
