Romeo and Juliet is a classic story about two love birds who want to be together but can’t because of their family’s feud. But the story was not all imagined by Shakespeare. In the years BC Ovid was making a poem called Pyramus And Thisbe. This poem was believed to be the original Romeo and Juliet. Their plot, conflict, and characters enjoy similarities and differences. These two both represent how love ends, sharing the same types of problems and having different creative points in their vision of love. These two stories have different plots, characters, conflicts but they both relate to the fact that love ends.Both stories share similar plots but have minor details to their plots that makes it different. Juliet also plans to avoid her marriage to Paris and marry Romeo instead. She drinks a potion that makes her fall asleep and seem like she is dead, her parents believe it and they put here in a tomb the plan was to convince everybody that she was dead excepted Romeo. The plan failed and Romeo ended up killing himself and after that Juliet killed herself too. In Pyramus and Thisbe’s plot was alit bit different. In their story, their parents know about their love but don’t allow it. So, they talk through a crack in a wall and make a plan to hang out, when they were executing the plan Thisbe arrives early and gets chased by a lion and slashed, later comes Pyramus and sees blood on her ripped clothes and thinks she is dead and kills himself.
