In almost every sport, a player has been found using performance enhancing drugs. In National Basketball Association (NBA), if a person has been found using drugs, he is suspended for a about 10-20 games, which is a lot for NBA. But the question is should a professional athlete be allowed into the Hall of Fame if they get caught using performance enhancing drugs? No, professional athletes should not be allowed in the Hall of Fame if they are caught using performance enhancing drugs. They should not be allowed because it is cheating, they can also convince other athletes to do the drugs, and they could be a bad role model for the kids. The first reason why athletes should not be allowed in the Hall of fame for using performance enhancing drugs is because it is essentially cheating, performance enhancing drugs make you stronger, faster, and more energetic than other players. “Blood doping increases the blood’s ability to carry oxygen. This can have a direct impact on VO2max, the measure of a person’s aerobic capacity. If a an athlete were to struggle with his game, he would start thinking about what other players do to get better. He might fall into the wrong hands and take drugs. For example, one player named Joakim Noah, he was the defensive player of the year on 2013, but right after he won, the NBA found that Joakim was takin Ligandrol. Another player named Nick Calathes was also caught taking Tamoxifen because of Joakim, and they were both suspended for almost 30-40
