Athletes don’t always get full scholarships, so they need better grades to be able to play. Having good grades will put you into a good college, has financial benefits, and will make you a better person overall. You won’t know for sure if you are getting a full scholarship for your sport. But if you have good grades you have your good grades to back you up.

Having good grades will higher the chance of getting into a good college. Getting into a good college will get you the chance of having a good job in the future. If you do not have good grades and do not go to a good school you will not get a job offer. If you get good grades you have the potential to get a scholarship to a good college. If the athlete can not pay for the stuff he needs then having the good grades will help. If they can not pay for a lot of stuff then having the full scholarship to college is really good to them. If you can not get a full scholarship and you are good at sports, then you can get a half-athletic scholarship combined with the other half merit money can equal to having a full scholarship. Thus, it is very important to have good grades to play sports.

Having the good grade will definitely make you a better person. If you have good grades, then that means you try to make good grades. If you have extra time on your hands you devote that to studying or doing homework. If you mess around all day and do not do anything like study or even do class work in school will not get you anywhere. If you really want something then that means you have to work for it. Not everything is handed down to you. Good grades will bring you a long way and it is better for the athlete, if you can’t get a scholarship for athletics then you have something to fall back
