On 06-08-2016 at 1624 hours I was dispatched to 902 Highway 53 (B&K Trading) in reference to shoplifting.
Upon my arrival I made contact with Kyle Danrels, who informed me of the following:
- Paula Foster a vender of B&K Trading informed him a lady had placed a red dress in her purse.
- He was following her around and she appeared uneasy and then asked him what Foster had told him.
- He then asked her if she had the dress and she pulled it and a pair of pants out of her purse.
- She was begged him not to call the police and then left the business and he followed until officers arrived.
I made contact with Paula Foster who informed me of the following;
- A customer asked to try on a Red Dress and she opened the dressing room door.
- She tried it on and open the door to get her opened and then went back into the dressing room.

She got back dress and when she came out of the dressing room she did not have the dress with her.
- She went into the dressing room to get the dress and it was gone.
- She asked her if she hung the dress back up and she winked at her and said yes and then shushed her.
- She went and told the manager Kyle.
I placed Debra Paggett under arrest and transported her to the Poplar Bluff Police Department booking room where she was processed and lodged at the Butler County Justice Center.
