In the short story “So I ain’t no good girl” by Sharon Flake. She created a short story about a girl and a boy life. Sharon Flake is such a professional author; however, there was some inaccurate result in his story. Basically, the short story was about a girl and her “boyfriend” was having an agreement from left to right. By the end, she caught Raheem cheating on her. It was when she got on the bus and the bus driver wouldn’t stop for Sharon to get off. It was too much of a coincidence. Flake uses the worst setting possible, the bus stop, and made a character that is too good to be true, Raheem, which determine the plot of the short story.+-

First of all, the way he orders the plot it had to be a first-person point of view, but not a unique plot. It was told as a flashback. Due to this sentence I came up with the conclusion of it’s a flashback “ But I hate em’ just the same, mostly ‘cause that girl with red hair and grey eyes looks like the girl Raheem once left me for.” Key word is “once.” Why would he do it again? It is very faulty due to the author sentence. He claims that Raheem is the cutest boy in the school because of this sentence “He’s the cutest boy in the school: an amateur boxer with a six-pack and honey-brown muscles…” However, the author made a big mistake by the ending of the quote “…. That girl reaches for even when they don’t know him.” Why wouldn’t the girls know him? Also, Flake pointed out that it was then end of the school year so there was no reason the girls don’t know him due to this quote “So I remind him that he’s got a test third period. If he doesn’t pass it, he flunks the class. If he flunks, he doesn’t graduate next month.” It looks like the graduation ceremony is going to be next month. That means during the whole school year the girls should’ve known him a while ago. He is completely
