The Two Sided Lady Macbeth
One of the main characters in the Shakespearean play Macbeth, is the wife of Macbeth, Lady Macbeth. Lady Macbeth is a very two sided character in this play. She consistently acts differently when she is with her husband than she does when she is not. There are various examples of this exhibitied in the play.
One of the most notable examples of this is contained in Act I Scene v when Lady Macbeth reads the letter written to her by Macbeth. Shortly after reading it, she makes the comment that she feels Macbeth is too kind to murder Duncan and that he will need her help, strength, and willpower to commit it. However, after she hears that Macbeth is returning home, she calls upon evil spirits and other demonic entities to give her some aid. She does this because she realizes that she doesn’t have the strength of will to persuade Macbeth into murdering Duncan after all. Then, when Macbeth arrived, just after she finished praying for help, she acts as if she has a heart of stone and that Macbeth is not a man if he is afraid of killing Duncan. This is a prime example of her deception towards him, and how she acts differently when she is alone than when she is around him.
Another example of her being two sided is the role she talks about playing in Duncan’s death, and the role that she actually does play in it. There are a few times in the play, mostly when she is attempting to persuade Macbeth into committing the murder, that she says he should just leave the murder to her. Throughout the play she gradually decreases her role in the murder until it becomes Macbeth’s job to kill Duncan, not hers. This is another very large trick on her part, but one that Macbeth also fails to see;
Whether it is because he chooses not to, or because he is too naive to realize it.
The last noteworthy example of her inconsistency occurs between Act I Scene vii and Act II Scene ii. In Act I Scene vii she severely scolds Macbeth for having second thoughts about committing the murder. She tries to get rid of his rational thoughts by saying that he must not really love her if he can change his mind on the murder, which she says he promised her he would do.
In 1863 Abraham Lincoln wrote the Emancipation Proclamation declared “that all persons held as slaves” within rebellious states “are, and henceforward shall be free”. In my perspective this was a command from God through Abraham. The sad thing about it is we still don’t follow it. Slavery and racism needs to stop before it gets out of hand.
Most people probably thought that Lady Macbeth did not have a humane side to herself and is self-centered. When Lady Macbeth was hiding in the bushes waiting for Macbeth to return, she was talking to herself. At the beginning of Act II scene 2, Lady Macbeth shows her sympathetic side by stating “He could not miss 'em. Had he not resembled My father as he slept, I had done’t.” Lady Macbeth is inherently a person with emotional attachment, but when it comes to her ambitious needs, she shows a different side of herself.
Rand’s novella, Anthem depicts a dystopian society where an individual struggles against the society’s core beliefs. The individual named Prometheus stated “The secrets of this earth are not for all men to see, but only for those who will seek them.” Meaning knowledge is for the men who search for it; if the individual doesn’t search for (secrets of the earth) knowledge, he won’t appreciate the great beauty of it. Knowledge is not automatically expressed in the world; it is like the pieces of a puzzle, where an individual decides whether or not to put the pieces together. Only those who figure out the puzzle, find their answers. Rand depicts a society, where the main character’s thirst for knowledge push him to painfully break free of his chains of confinement by society and to finally reach his highest level of understanding reality.
In Act 1, scene7 she really excel’s herself in how far she will go to manipulate Macbeth, to get her way. He not prepared for her rage when he announces his change of heart.

We also see her as a selfish woman when Macbeth has second thoughts about murdering King Duncan. " Was the hope drunk. Like the poor cat I' the adage?" (line 38-48, Pg 59), "What beast wasn't then. As you have done to this" (line 52-64, Pg 59).
Lady Macbeth’s wicked character has an extreme impact towards her husband. Lady Macbeth is responsible for influencing her husband to commit both crimes; she unleashes the dark side of him and motivates him to become an evil and horrendous man. In various parts throughout the story we find that Lady Macbeth strives beyond limits to be converted into a bitter and sour women. The audience is revolted by her horrific actions and although she may seem repugnant, she is an extremely talented actor. In her role, having a deceitful and convincing character is important
In William Shakespeare's play, Macbeth, many characters moods change throughout. However, the one character whose mood changes most throughout the play is Lady Macbeth. In the beginning of the play, Lady Macbeth is the one that drives Macbeth into the killing of the king Duncan. She seems confident and determined in the beginning of the play until she is overwhelmed by guilt. Along with this, Lady Macbeth and Macbeth’s relationship change after the many murders they have performed. Finally, after all the deaths that Lady Macbeth and Macbeth performed, she finally can’t sleep knowing what she finished.
Lady Macbeth is a very loving wife to Macbeth and she wants to do anything she can for him to achieve his goals. She just takes it a little too far, and she puts too much pressure on Macbeth to commit crimes that he is not sure he wants to do. After Macbeth sends her a letter about the witches’ premonitions, Lady Macbeth is no longer the sweet innocent lady we expect her to be. She turns into a person who is just as ambitious as her husband and she wants to do whatever it takes to help him get Duncan out of the way. She even goes to the point of calling Macbeth a coward, and mocking his bravery when he fails to complete the job. She is even willing to do it herself (plant the bloody knife with the guard). Lady Macbeth is constantly putting the pressure on Macbeth to do things that he is not sure about. She almost turns into a bully who dares Macbeth to go out and do evil things. She even says in a soliloquy that she wants to be released of all her morals and values so that she can help him commit these crimes.
There were several aspects of Shakespeare’s novel ‘Macbeth’ that led to the downfall of Lady Macbeth. The mentality of Lady Macbeth in the play changes dramatically from the wife a Noble General, to an evil aggressive murderer (brought upon by the witches predictions), and finally a woman who had de-graded to such an extent that she took her own life.
In conclusion, there are many scientific reasons to question the theory of evolution. These weaknesses may be resolved by science, or they may eventually do away with the theory all together. No one knows which one will happen, but what is known is this: the theory of evolution is far from settled, and rational people can question it scientifically.
In this paragraph I am going to tell you how human trafficking works. First the people who are trafficked are often those who are in debt or living in poverty. Traffickers exploit these types of situations, and trick these individuals into believing that they will sponsor them to get a good paying job somewhere abroad. Next, upon arrival to the destination, these individuals are often shocked to realize that they are not given the work that they were promised and instead, are forced to work in conditions that they did not agree to. Traffickers also take away passports and any other means of identification of these people so that the police will not be able to help them. Finally, victims are often told that they must now work until they pay back their debt, and can also be sold to va...

Mental health is also a growing issue in China, as failing to fulfill one’s duties within the family and society can lead to common symptoms of psychological distress. It is a huge concern as there are huge social and economic costs. Currently, there is inadequate care of the mentally ill, with incidents such as the escape of 42 psychiatric patients. Mental illness is also portrayed in a negative light by the Chinese domestic media, although they do not overly discriminate against the mentally ill.
