Introduction to the task: Take service user for a short walk. The Aim of the task: It is very crucial for elderly people to make them as mobile as possible. So that they can help themselves and can improve their daily living. Carry out of the task and benefits: So for this activity, we gathered 5 service users who are interested to participate. My team and I asked where they would like to go and how far by communicating. This opportunity will improve for service users to help to reduce stiffness and seizing up. As I conducted this in a room with sufficient equipment, mats, chairs and other items. Task 5 Art Workshop Introduction to the task: Conducting art workshop with the service user. The aim of the task: Understanding the needs of each service user what they want to use in this task. Encouraging them to draw or paint of the things they like. This can make people happy by spending time in art session. Carry out of the task and benefits for service users: We worked as a team to conduct this art workshop session. Worked with two other art staff. We gathered the service users who are interested in this session. We took them to a quiet room to precede this task. Checked for all necessary materials like papers, pencils, colors, paint brushes, glues etc, Art therapy is not the way to combat dementia, but it also helps to reduce anxiety and negative feelings. This art class helps service user to improve their brain functioning (mentally), concentration, reduces stress. This can benefit dementia people. Part 2 Freedom of choice and listening skills: Service users have the full freedom to pick how they want to draw with crayons or pencils. What do I do now? This can be asked by service users to staff. Then listened to the person what their interests are
