Scientists and psychologists everywhere study twins. The argument most commonly studied is nature versus nurture. The focus of this essay, however, is whether or not to separate twins in schools. Some believe the separation is demeaning and traumatic to the twins. The side about to be proved however that is this separation is a necessary step in the individualization of twins. Often, separation sparks the path to individualization. There are two types of twins. One type of twins, called identical twins, is exact clones of each other. They share the same DNA and were made from a single split egg. More research as been done regarding these types of twins as they are the more remarkable kind. Since they are a genetic match, nature plays the same role in both twins. This means that all findings must be due to nurture and the environment in which each twin is in. This being true, identical twins provide a lot of important findings. A lot of scientists and psychologists study identical twins. That being said, the majority of twin research is based around identical twins. The second type of twins, referred to as fraternal twins, is not clones. In fact, they are no more alike than normal siblings. They share half of their DNA as do normal siblings. Some may look like twins and some may not look anything like each other. Fraternal twins can be of the same sex or not. These types of twins are developed when two eggs are fertilized by a single sperm. Though they may be different, most still share a closer bond than that of normal siblings. Since they have the same DNA equivalency as normal siblings, fraternal twins aren’t studied as often as identical twins. Therefore, there isn’t as much findings on fraternal twins. Have you ever heard that twins could have completely different personalities, they could be friends, siblings, or possibly even enemies. Author Eric Wright creates a story about a writer who specializes in writing
The inability for others to distinct them from each other is emphasized in many episodes more prevalently the first. While shopping at the same store the sales clerk has issues pleasing both twins not knowing that they aren’t the same person and the girls being unaware of one another 's presents. Once, together the girls are unable to separate themselves enough from others to distinct the two despite having different personalities. "One’s own face is the most distinctive feature of the bodily self, and people typically show a clear advantage in recognizing their own face even more than other very familiar identities...monozygotic twins represent a unique model for exploring self-face processing." (Peter James Hills, 2014). Identity development begins with distinct knowledge physical self. Identical twins may seem to be at a slight disadvantage when beginning to formulate self because of extremely similar physical characteristics. However, twins can develop this a little better than others. The issue with identical twins lies with getting others to distinct them. In “Sister Sister” the girls struggle to develop separately as they age because despite recognizing the need for separation themselves others weren’t able to. The fight to set their selves apart from one another to others further pushes Tia’s more intelligent behavior; Tia reads more and pushes to achieve more so
Anais and Sam may have many similarities, but they did not even grow up together, have the same adopted parents, or go to the same school. From that being said nature definitely, plays a big part throughout these girls. Many twins are very similar in different ways. Some might be getting the same test scores as the other based on the knowledge of their parents, but others might get the same results on a test based on the different ways they study. The Jim twins are exactly like Anais and Sam. They both are twins who were separated at birth. Not only that but they found out that they both had so much in common with their twin. Even though the Jim twins had even more unbelievable similarities they also had some differences. Which would involve not growing up with the same parents, childhood, friends, schooling, and even more. There was a story that was talking about how a young girl was abandoned by her family so a pack of stray dogs took her in and raised her. She was eventually found at age eight. This girl showed many traits of a dog. She had walked on all fours, barked, and even developed a better sense of smell, hearing, and taste. With this being said the girl had developed the nurture side of things rather than the nature side. Genie being a feral child had hardly got any food. When she was found she only weighed 59 pounds. When Genie was found, like I said she had no grasp of communication or language. She learned that if she were to make a sound she would badly beat, and she learned that at a very young age. Luckily she was saved later in life and was taught very different how to act and behave around others. Also meaning she was nurtured a different way and luckily started to catch on and get

It is true that identical twins have many similarities, but people tend to ignore their differences. The Jim twins, for example, may
The stigma of matching clothes, similar thoughts, and having the same fingerprints, surround being a twin but what about the correlation of education and growth on being a twin?
As read in many different articles and the comments after the articles, people either are confused and name them unknown, or they call them two people with one body. The question to if they are punished the same seems to go on a mystery, but as their mother,Patty, states that they are two different people and wants them to be treated as two different people. This gives the assumption that in their household that they are both punished differently, but it is not certain. There is no other evidence that has been found of how they would be punished if they were to get in trouble. But each twin seems to want to be known as an individual rather than one, they both want their own driver's license even if they both are in the picture. However, along with moral responsibility one is in control of one side of the body as the other is in control of the other side; Abby is in control of the right side and Brittany controls the left side. They can’t sense each other's side, each side is similar to a body of its own. They are able to make their own decisions and plans, as said in the video. But most of the time they come to a compromise of what to do and how to go about things in the future. They each say that they are very opposite of each other as Abby likes pink and is more into girly and preppy things and Brittany likes the
Because of this debate there have been many tests and studies that have been done on twins. A lot of these studies include ones with twins that were either raised together or raised separately and they try to determine the outcome of whether the twins have similarities or differences in their behavior. There are plenty studies about twins who were separated at birth reunite later in life as adults to discover that they were the same person growing up, using the same brand of toothpaste, or liking the same cereals, or that they had given the same name to their children. This is the suggestion that jeans played into the role of the personality development, giving nature the upper hand. But then when scientist start tackling into the depth of this argument, going to more deep ethical questions, or perhaps it was theenvironment they grew up in that made them like these things. It is the way that one turns out where the nature versus nurture her comes into play. The ultimate answer as to which comes on

The siblings of twins are worth mentioning as well because they tend to feel left out – neither special nor important. This can lead to feelings of low self-esteem or to feeling driven to over achieve in an attempt to attract the attention and praise they need and feel they deserved but did not get (Blair, 2011, p.126).
Many environmental, genetic, and emotional factors are related to the composition of twins. Any types of twin share a relationship that most people will never experience. Twins, whether fraternal, identical, or conjoined, are an amazing phenomena of human life.
Sue and Heidi have as many differences as they have similarities. But they do not compete with each other and are like built-in best friends. Sometimes they communicate with one another by an unspoken means, telepathy. Identical twins, Sue and Heidi are a remarkable creation. On the outside they are a perfect mirror image, but, on the inside, they are as different as night and day.
Several people are considerably fascinated with twins, but don't quite comprehend exactly what it is like to be one. Actually, being a twin really isn't that different than not being a twin. (Or at least I don't think it is. The truth is that I have never not been one.) I believe, however, there is one advantage to being an identical twin. Identical twins are basically made up of the same ingredients. There is a connection that exists right from birth. In our case, Janae and I have found that we enjoy the same books, the same sports, the same food, we love the rain, and lastly our taste in guys is nearly the same.
