There are many different characteristics to being a student, whether that is being a good student or a bad student. I would like to consider myself as a good student- I always get my work done and am respectful. I admit that sometimes I do tend to procrastinate and I am a little bit unorganized. As a student I like to ask questions whenever I do not understand Something, even though sometimes I do not understand something because I was not paying attention. Although I may not always pay attention and have a problem with staying organized, I believe that I also have some of the same characteristics as a self -regulated learner. Self- regulated learning to me basically seems to be a student's work ethic. Self- regulated learning has to do with both their mindset and their actions. I am trying to push myself to be better at self- regulated learning. I am good at being self motivated, but need to work on staying focused and being organized. I can say that I am self motivated and feel confident about that. I think sports have helped me a lot with being more disciplined and having self motivation. A self-regulated learner is supposed to be very planned and organized, but unfortunately I am not. I am not very planned because I seem to put stuff off and procrastinate. I feel like everything in my life is unorganized. My room is unorganized, my binder, and my car. I would not say that all those things are messy, just unorganized. If you walk into my room it does not look unorganized, it actually looks very well put together, but honestly I have no idea where anything is. I misplace stuff all the time due to being unorganized. Seems like all my belongings just get up and walk out of my room. I try to be organized, but I do not really know what happens, being organized just does not work out for
