The operation of self-driving car is designed to imitate the process the way humans go through their driving routine. First the sensor, No you need to start it first. The sensors deployed gather the information about the surrounding and environment. This information gets mapped onto the GIS grid through the on-board GPS. This information gets fed to the control system. Which with the assistance of the on board electronics and software, drives the car. The Self driving cars – Is it too much of a leap into the future Every development, whether technological or otherwise goes through a cycle of conceiving, designing, testing, production, on-field trials, certification and acceptance. The cycle is in line with the mantra given by Darwin “Survival of the fittest”. And bypassing any of these steps certainly proves to have disastrous after effects. When the driving of an autonomous car demonstrates that the computer can safely and reliably transport the passengers to their destination, this frees up the passengers to do other things that they would not normally be able to do if they were driving the car manually. For this reason, self-driving cars can help maximize productivity of their passengers.
