The Second Crusade has started. The European Lords wanted to invade the crusader states to make sure that they still have power over them. As the European Lords invaded the Crusader states, the importance and roles of the knights increased rapidly.

The Third Crusade is now accomplished and other things are too. A Peace Treaty was established that allowed Saladin's Muslim Empire to keep control of Jerusalem but granted Christians the right to visit the city and their shrines. The Crusades kept control of their lands north of the city of Jaffa.

The Fifth Crusade was led by Kind Andrew ll of Hungary. They went first to the Holy Land and then Eygpt, but failed due to their disorganized military efforts.

Ten years later, the Fourth Crusade starts. Pope Innocent lll called for a new Crusade. Although most of the action happened in the first three crusdaes, the Fourth Crusade proved to be weakening the Bryantines enough that they could no longer hold off the Muslim expansio.

The Sixth Crusade was led by Fredrick ll of the Holy Empire. The Sixth Crusade was successful in getitng back Jerusalem in 1228. After the Civil wars in Jerusalem it was vulnerable to Muslim attacks. Jerusalem would never fall under Christan rule.

It seems as if this is the Final Crusade. King Louis lX of France let two more attempts to gain land. It failed as far as gaining any land. The last state of Christianity fell to the Mamluk Empire in 1291.
