In the beginning of this school year I set three goals to have a better year. Now that I see them at the end of this school year, I did not accomplish those goals. I believe I could have done better if I was reminded to keep up with my goals. I did not succeed because I had forgot and as a result I did the same as before. My goals that I set were keeping up with my grades, having a good attitude, and actually trying in the sports I am in.
The first goal that I set to focus on this year was to keep up with my grades. My current grades are all A’s and B’s with one C. I believe I could have gotten that one C turned into something better, if I would have tried harder. I didn't try as hard as I wish I would have. If I would have gave more effort in to my grades I would have met my goal. Since I did not, my goals were not accomplished. With not trying hard as I would have liked, It was also hard to keep a good attitude throughout the year.

It is difficult to have a positive attitude when there is almost always negative energy surrounding me. In this school everyone always has something to complain about or someone feels the need to start drama. I also have to get a lot of work done in school for all of my classes while also getting everything done at my actual job. It is very difficult to have a positive attitude when you’re always around negative things and piled up with things to do. Have given all of the evidence, thus why I have not remained to succeed in this goal. I do not believe I accomplished my goal of keeping a good attitude. Dealing with a lot of stress and different things, I do very much enjoy doing sports and being
attitude is just as important as achieving the goal, and one must want to achieve that
Tupac once said "Having a positive attitude could get you somewhere in life". Well, I agree with him, if you want to accomplish something you have to think positive. Some other people don't agree with Tupac and i think they don't because the way they were raised, always seeing negative stuff and it translated into their life. For me, if you want to be successful not only in life but in other areas you have to think positive. Success and positive belong together, they are family. Why think about negative ways to be successful? you can't. Some other people may think having a positive attitude isn't they key to success. why? because you don't have to always think positive to succeed, nobody will always be positive and happy. Nobody's life is perfect,
Goals give you something to measure yourself against and give you direction. Currently, my main goal is to graduate from East Carolina University with a bachelor’s degree of science in engineering with a concentration in biomedical engineering. My anticipated time to graduation is five years with a GPA of 3.5 or higher. Beyond getting my bachelor’s degree at East Carolina University, I would like to go to medical school and become a doctor focusing on prosthetics. In order to make my goals a reality, I will have to work diligently to remain on track throughout my schooling. Additional goals that I have set for myself are to complete homework assignments by the time they are due, reading assigned material before it is discussed in class, doing well in each of my courses this semester, successfully participating in extracurricular activities, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in engineering, getting a position as an engineer, and becoming a leader within both the engineering community and the general community. A world-class engineering student woul...
During my freshman and sophomore year my grades were not great and there is no excuse for that. During the second month of my freshman year, I was blessed with a beautiful daughter. I spent most of my time taking care of my daughter and working as much as possible to support her, because of it my grades suffered. Although it was tough being stretched so thin when it came to time, I wouldn’t change a thing. Those first two years of college really showed me how to overcome adversity and also how to multitask.
I have always, and will continue to strive to be the very best that I can be in everything that I do. The goals that I have set for myself are goals that include
My goal is to receive only honor roll grades and participating in additional clubs and activities. When I achieve this goal by putting my mind to it, I can even see myself becoming one of the highest ranked students in my class. I am very proud of myself this semester and can say for myself that I have improved but there are some things I wish I did better. I should of worked just a little harder at getting my work done every night and instead of constantly getting distracted by the things around me, I should of focused only on study for my
My educational goals are to graduate from the University of Florida with honors with a degree in neuroscience and a minor in business administration. I want to graduate from college because I know that knowledge is the key to success. There are endless possibilities and no limitations when one is knowledgeable about the world around him or her. If I graduate with honors, I will know that I pushed myself to my greatest reaching point and surpassed my limitations. There are great things awaiting me, and the only way to get there is go above and beyond what is expected of me with a solid education. Obtaining my undergraduate degree in neuroscience will help me explore my passion for science while better preparing me for medical school. Reports
A goal I achieved was when I graduated from high school many years ago. I was the first one in my family to graduate from high school. It was a big accomplishment for me and my mom. Graduating was my goal. I wanted to make my mom proud, life happens I couldn't go to college then but I told myself one day I will full field my dream to have a career. I meet my career advisor at a job fair and am here enrolled to be a medical assistant. My new goal is to work real hard to get the best grades I can possibly get and to have perfect attendance at the end off the medical assistant program. Am going use my time wisely, get all my work done in time and ask for help if I don't understand something.

Motivation is defined as the process that initiates, guides and maintains goal-oriented behaviours. Motivation is what causes us to act, whether it is getting a glass of water to reduce thirst or reading a book to gain knowledge. Goal Setting is where we set specific targets aims that we wish to achieve, they need to be S.M.A.R.T or else they become dreams rather than believable goals. .
Goals I have always tried to set clear goals and made sure I reached them. Now, even though I am a full-time mother, and wife, I find
Out of everything that we 've learned this quarter, goal setting was something that stood out to me. There are a few times where I set a goal in my head but end up never achieving them, wether it was something very simple or more of a long term goal. A technique that stood out to me in our notes is, writing down your goals. I don 't I 've ever written down a single goal that I 've had. In class and in our notes we talked about how it is important to write down your goals and how you cannot just write the general idea of your goal, but how you need to be very specific in what it is you want to achieve. I think that in college it 's very important to set long, mid, and short term goals because somedays will be harder than others and you need
I have always wanted to make good grades but I never really set any goals but, then I realized that setting academic goals are way more important than people realize . I then started to set goals like my sophomore year of high school after I did that it really helped me focus on my future and what I wanted for myself. My goals I think pushed me so much more academically they opened my eyes a little bit more. One Goal I set was to graduate High school with a Core 40 diploma, which I did, so that is one goal down and a bunch more to go. My senior year I started applying to college but my main goal was to make into Saint Mary-of-the Woods and when I received my acceptance letter I was ecstatic. So far, I am still trying to figure out my academic goals for college but, I do know for sure that I want to succeed in every single way that I can so I can make a better future for myself. A goal that I made this year is to make the dean’s list every single time, for this I will study so hard for every test, do all of my homework, and ask questions when I have them and maybe even getting a tutor. This challenge will probably be really tough but I believe that I can do it if I put my mind to it, and I tend to be a very determined
Achieving any goal requires self-discipline. It involves a conscious awareness of our actions and the ability to overcome some of the bad habits that might be holding us. Instilling self- discipline into our lives is not easy task.
When planning for our future it is important to have clear goals in mind and to understand the steps that need to be taken to achieve those goals. My long-term goal is to run my own counseling center and employee at least one other person. Some Skills I already possess that will allow me to succeed with this plan are my ability to relate to people and be consistent in following the steps needed, even though it will be a long and tedious process.
