School is a thing that nearly all children have to attend at some point in their young adult life. Every year, students are encouraged to come back to school for another year of education. Being asked to go to school nearly year round, students are granted breaks in their school year. Most popularly, breaks are held near holidays or in specific seasons such as, "Summer break" and, "Spring break." Most schools have their school year planned. They have students to go to school for the majority of the year, and the students get break for relaxation time. Pretty easy, isn't it? But recently, people have been stuck on one question. At the beginning of the year, you usually set aside two weeks reviewing the content forgotten over Summer. Having these two extra weeks of school at the beginning of the year would help students recall the information forgotten without wasting time. With a shorter Summer break, there would also be less time to forget prior knowledge. Thus, we would not be wasting two weeks of education that were previously summer break. Just process this plan for a moment. You would be able to continue on with your education while using the time at the beginning of the school year to learn the forgotten information. On the other hand, there are some pros to the other plan, the "Traditional Calendar" Plan. Students would get a longer Summer break. Due to the longer break, there would be more time for family and relaxation. Students would also start school later, which most students would enjoy. Even though there are pros to the other proposal, I believe the "Balanced Calendar" plan would be more beneficial to the students and the school. In conclusion, the spread out breaks would help our school have a more convenient schedule for education and let the students relax and enjoy their breaks spread throughout the year. It would overall be a better plan to issue for schools to use. What is your stance on break
