Laying the Foundation for a Personal Model of therapy The model of therapy I have chosen is the experiential model, the Satir human growth model. This model is an experiential treatment method that is based on both humanistic and psychology perspectives (Gehart, 2014). The Satir could be considered as a transformational systemic therapy. I will conceptualize and design a course of treatment to perform for an individual from the chosen movie “Antowne Fisher.” This movie is about an individual who has anger management issues in the military and how his past cause his current dysfunction. The reason why I have chosen this model with this movie, is because this model explore many layer of emotional interactions, while at the same time this model maintain the focus on behavior and cognition, which is one of the main assumption and concepts of this particular model. The Satir human growth model is a model that target many layers of emotional exchanges between family members and significant other in relation to their current or present problems. One of the main focus in this model is on communication with warmth and support. Introduction of Foreign Element: is an abnormal element which create a serious life crisis, tragedy occurrence, or some therapeutic intervention that cause the system to become offline or unbalance. 3. Chaos: is when a better perspective is develop and the outcome is of positive feedback that would put the system into a chaotic phase causing the system to become uncomfortable and the system tries to put for the effort to regain the status quo which is the first stage that system might or might make the effort
