In the modern age, the world of grocery shopping has evolved from a tedious experience to one that offers both tranquility and thrill for its shoppers. The company, Costco, provides three memberships including a business, executive, and gold star membership. To further specify, Costco’s Gold Star membership is sixty dollars per year and allows its members to access their shop and deals online or in person at any Costco location worldwide. In addition, the Gold Star membership is the lowest-priced card that members can choose from to access a shopping experience at Costco. The following, an executive membership, is priced at $100 and provides its members with exclusive insight into new items offered within their locations. This selection also provides its consumers with a free membership for any individual within their residency who is over eighteen. In addition, all benefits of lower memberships are offered to executive members. Lastly, the final membership offered to future Costco members is the business membership that caters to the needs of business owners. Being a stocker for Costco Wholesale is a straightforward job. The stocker comes in each morning and presented with the day 's’ tasks. The stocker is monitored throughout the day by the department manager to make sure all tasks are being met in a timely manner. Costco Wholesale works less like a business and more like a well tuned machine. If one cog in a machine is faulty or rusty then the whole system will run inefficiently. Managers need to work with subordinates to further improve productivity. To avoid ineffective managers, managerial candidates should be democratically elected by future subordinates.
