Introduction
Russia has been the largest country in the world. It stretches from Eastern Europe all the way to the shores of the Pacific Ocean (Magocsi, 2000). There are two parts to Russia. One part is present- day Russia which is inhabited by ethnic Russians (Magosci, 2000). The other part was once a part of the Russian Empire and then the Soviet Union (Magosci, 2000). Much of European Russia was part of Kievan Rus a medieval state (Magosci, 2000). Over the years the Soviet Union disappeared as a country. Then the soviet republics became independent and then came the country Russia (Magosci, 2000). The reason why I am interested in this country is because a friend always talked about this country. He always gave information about the lifestyle and how they lived. It made me curious into finding out

One of the differences would be religion. Russians are usually classified as an Orthodox Christian, Jew, and nominal Jew (Magosci, 2000). Common American religions can be catholic, Christian, or other religion depending on the person’s belief. In tradition Russian society women were dependent on their husbands. That has changed now a high percentage of women are in the labor force. The Russian culture still believes that women should still perform tasks such as cleaning, shopping, and cooking (Williams, 2016). Another difference would be their political beliefs. Russians are not really involved in political life in the U.S. They are more involved in labor union activity. Reason being is because they are accused of being socialists or communists. Russians are confident in what they believe. They have an appreciation for wholeness, complete commitment and faith (Russia, 2016). They have to believe that someone is good and honest before building a relationship. These differences are important to understand when comparing to American
The usable land was mainly in the southwest of Russia. The eastern part which is called Siberia, is mostly frozen permanently (permafrost). Since the land was frozen, so too was the ocean around Russia. This meant that trade between Russia and other countries was impossible. All these downsides of the Russian agriculture affected the peasants and most of the population of the country.
Russia's industries were beginning to develop and the number of people living in towns was increasing. These people were the urban working class of Russia and they were not as eager to accept the poor wages and conditions as the peasants were.
Historically, Russia has always been a country of perplexing dualities. The reality of Dual Russia, the separation of the official culture from that of the common people, persisted after the Revolution of 1917 and the Civil War. The Czarist Russia was at once modernized and backward: St. Petersburg and Moscow stood as the highly developed industrial centers of the country and two of the capitals of Europe, yet the overwhelming majority of the population were subsistent farms who lived on mir; French was the official language and the elites were highly literate, yet 82% of the populati...
Russia is a country with many large land masses that are greatly dependent on and helped shape the culture in Russia today. Russia is filled with rivers and mountains that protect them from invasions and help aid in trade. The Dnieper River and the Ural Mountains had a major impact on the development of Russia, as they impacted Russian both positively and negatively. For example, a positive effect of the Dnieper River is that it aided in trade with different civilizations, and the Ural Mountains protected Russia from being invaded by outside forces. Russia is the largest country in the world, so large that it has 11 times zones, the only climate that it does not contain is a tropical one (Russia).
The Russian Revolution occured in two stages/times, February nd October of 1917. As cited in document 1, "Tsar Nicholas II was overthrown and a liberal democratic government came to power." What lead to the Febraury Revolution was the peasant agriculture to the Russian population, autocracy, and the outbreak of WW1. A long-term cause was the peasant agriculture to the Russian population. As said in document 1, "For all of its history before the 20th cwntury, 80-95% of the population were poor pasants, farmers just barely scratching a living form the land. For most of that history (between 1694-1861) the majority of these peasants were enserfed." to enserf means to be aprovd of liberty and personal rights. Before 1917 peasants recieved sympathy from
There are many stereotypes in the American society that bestows an idea of the depiction of Russians. From past Olympics, we see that the Russians excel in sports and are powerful individuals. We also see the power and intelligence which come from this country.

Another reason was identity. Napoleon only represented Stalin, and that really brought out his characteristics. Since Napoleon was meant to represent Stalin, all of Stalin’s traits, most of his bad deeds, and events occurred in the book. For example, in Animal Farm, Orwell made Snowball seem smarter than Napoleon, but made Napoleon more powerful. This is true in real life because Lenin was a lot more educated than Stalin, but Stalin ended up with the power (Radinsky 97)
Vladimir Putin first gained power in the year 1999 when Russian President Boris Yeltsin named him Prime Minister. Putin was then elected President of Russia in the year 2000, only to be reelected again in 2004. By 2008, he stepped down and served as Prime Minister once again only to be reelected as President in 2012. In all of his years of rule, Vladimir Putin proved himself to be a successful leader of Russia due to his economic policies, effective military reforms, and treatment of his people.

Russia has a high crime rate also. Their crime rate is so high that if you were to go to the store like the grocery store, when you walk in the store u have to lock your things up in a locker and shop. When you got through shopping then you were to pick up your stuff out of your locker. The whole time that you are shopping there are people watching your every move. The reason why the crime rate is so high is because they work hard to get paid a little amount of money. Russia’s unemployment rate is very high. There are not enough jobs in Russia for everyone to have a job. For example if you were to get a job at a fast food restaurant, you were only getting paid a little or nothing an hour and that’s not even close to minuan wage in America.
What do we know about other cultures, does our knowledge extend to what we have seen in the movies? Are the majority of Russians burly commandos who consume a large quantity of vodka to keep warm in the Russian weather and dream about the day that the KGB and Stalin return? If you believe what you see in the movies, this could be the picture that comes to mind when thinking about Russia and their culture. Though if you are in pursuit of an accurate cultural awareness, there are many tools to help you reach this. Russia is a unique culture with different customs, language, politics, historical value, terrain, and weather. With its vast expanse
Today Kazakhstan is one of the well developing countries in the whole world. Since Kazakhstan became independent country in 1991 and from that period many things were significantly changed including of course business environment. The country was developing in terms of such factors as economic, political and legal, demographic, social, competitive, global, and technological. Kazakhstan is in the 9th place by territory and located in Central Asia, and also has access to the Caspian and the Aral Sea where a huge amount of oil has. The neighbors that Kazakhstan has connect are China, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation. In addition, with all these countries Kazakhstan has good relationships in different spheres. As I mentioned above from the moment when Kazakhstan got independence there were a lot of changes, for example, whether before the capital was Almaty then from 1997 the capital of Kazakhstan became Astana. Today Astana is one of the biggest and beautiful cities that attract many tourists to visit Kazakhstan. Talking about language that official is definitely Kazakh and also Russian language is quite widespread that many people can speak free. Furthermore, Kazakhstan possesses a rich selection of mineral reserves as well as numerous oil and gas fields. Kazakhstan’s strategic location in Eurasia has important implications on the country’s economy, politics, and culture which collectively create a favorable business environment for multinational companies. The factors that I would like to write are economic, legal and political.
