William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet is a magnificent play about two star-crossed lovers and their journey to survive their dangerous and forbidden love. Young Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet are on different sides of a family feud and when their paths cross, they fall in love and will stop at nothing to be together. Romeo and Juliet are truly in love because of their self sacrifices and passionate commitment for one and other. Romeo sneaks into the Capulet’s backyard to see Juliet and he overhears Juliet is talking. He listens to what she has to say and learns what Juliet is feeling. Juliet is not just willing to give up give up her family, she is ready to go against everything she believes in and has been taught. She is will fight to be with Romeo and she will go against her morals and her family’s legacy to love Romeo. Juliet ready to give up her life is a sign of loyalty and faithfulness towards Romeo and loyalty and faithfulness is what true love needs. Juliet does truly love and value her life with Romeo even though they have only known each other for such a short amount of time. Romeo is still under her balcony until he speaks up and confesses his love for her and only her. Juliet thinks that their relationship is still young and that it needs to grow, but Romeo is able to change her mind. Juliet knows that being with Romeo is a risk, but she is passionate and commented to Romeo.
