The theme I will be addressing in the following essay is anger and grudges, which have no positive results. Romeo and Juliet is one of the most famous productions created by William Shakespeare. There are lots of allusions to Romeo and Juliet used throughout many things. However, this reading gave me a very different perspective on these characters than I expected. Anger and judges having positive results is adequately proven through the events in Romeo and Juliet by William Shakesphere. My first piece of evidence is the Capulet and Montague rivalry is very old, these new fights broke out in the name of the rivalry. I would like to refer back to this information, “In beautiful Verona, where our play takes place, there are two families, both …show more content…

New fights begin to break out between servants of the houses, which causes much anger between the families and the Prince of Verona. These fights and feuding were pure rage and caused this tragedy to take the route it did. These fights resulted in much pent up anger from both sides and was the reason Romeo and Juliet had to sneak around. This was the beginning of their downfall as a couple. Lastly, my final argument is the direct cause of the deaths of Romeo and Juliet in this tragedy. Juliet’s father told her that he was planning her wedding to a man named Paris. He expected her to marry later that week with no complaints and she had no option. Juliet was full of emotions after this, both anger and sadness alike. Juliet ran to Friar Lawrence for help, he wedded Romeo and Juliet and would also be wedding Paris and Juliet. However, she trusted him to make a plan for her, so she visited the Friar and this is what he told her. “Be strong, go home, and tomorrow night make sure you sleep alone. Drink this vial of liquor before bed, you will get a cold, sleepy feeling running through your veins. Your pulse will cease, your body will go cold, and you’ll stop breathing. Your eyes will close and your body will go stiff like a corpse. Tomorrow, after you are buried at your family’s burial site, I will send a Friar to tell Romeo to rescue
