Robert Bolt
Over his lengthy, distinguished career, British screenwriter and playwright Robert Bolt has been thrice nominated for Academy Awards and has won twice for Doctor Zhivago (1965) and A Man for All Seasons(1966). Born and raised in Manchester, Bolt served in the British Air Force during WWII and afterward attended Manchester University.
Following graduation, Bolt became a teacher of English at the prestigious Millfield private school in Somerset. He remained there between 1950-58. In his spare time, Bolt wrote radio and stage plays, but gained little recognition until he penned the script for his play Flowering Cherry (1957). His third play, A Man for All Seasons opened in 1960; the original production made actor Paul Scofield a star and was a hit on the London and Broadway stage. The publicity surrounding the production attracted the attention of movie producer Sam Spiegel who hired Bolt to completely revise recently exiled writer Michael Wilson's script for David Lean's Lawrence of Arabia. (1962).
The result was an Academy Award nomination for Bolt's script. Throughout the decade, Bolt would specialize in adapting literature to the screen. He would not have an original script produced until Lean directed Bolt's Ryan's Daughter (1970). Unfortunately, the film bombed at the box-office. After that, Bolt spent a while working on his playwrighting career and found success with Vivat! Vivat Regina! (1970). His next script was for the costume drama Lady Caroline Lamb (1972) starring Bolt's wife Sarah Miles, who had also starred in Ryan's Daughter. In 1976, Lean approached Bolt with a new idea for an epic reworking of the story of the Bounty mutiny. With funding by Dino De Laurentiis and Paramount studio, Bolt set to work on the script. Over the next two years, Bolt concentrated most of his energy on the script, creating two versions.
Secondly, the court argued even though Dred Scott was free under state law he still wasn’t a U.S. citizen. Another reason Scott could not be a citizen because he was black and he was descendant of an American slave (McBride 1).
Research by Benny Andrews Andrews wanted to express black experience through his art, but he found it a very difficult thing to do. He was using nonfigurative expressionism, which became a personal movement for him. Andrews wanted to convey himself in a different way from other artists in order to create his own exclusive personality. I think his works are delicate, and cherished. He is a visual artist, writer, and teacher.
In the year 1786, at the pressing invitation of his friend, Colonel Howard, he removed from Annapolis to Baltimore. By this gentleman, he was generously presented with a square of ten lots of land, upon a spot in which he erected a house, in which he lived until his death. On his removal from Annapolis, the corporation of that city tendered to him the expressions of their respect, in the following address: "Sir, the mayor, aldermen, and common councilmen of the city of Annapolis, impressed with a due sense of the services rendered to this corporation by you, in the capacity of recorder thereof, do take this occasion to assure you of their entire approbation of your conduct in the performance of the duties of that trust, and to acknowledge your ready exertion, at all times, to promote the interest and welfare of this city, They sincerely regret the occasion of this address, as your removal from the city of Annapolis will deprive this body of a faithful and able officer, and the city of a valuable citizen. You have our warmest wishes for your happiness and welfare.''

Socrates devotes a generous amount of The Republic to creating a Utopian society wherein philosophers rule. As he believes that philosophers ought to lead a city, Socrates first defines a guardian by unmasking elements belonging to philosophers. Above all, philosophers have a hunger for wisdom, and are individuals, “capable of comprehending what is eternal and unchanging,” (Sterling and Scott 174). Additionally, Socrates categorizes truth, pleasures in the soul, generosity, magnificence, courage, grace and temperance, (Sterling and Scott 174-177)...
The case of Dred Scott vs. Sanford was a very high profile case, which its decision had a great impact on proceeding events. This case was based on the controversy of whether black’s slave or free, were considered citizens according the constitution. Also since blacks were not considered citizens, they could not bring suit for their freedom, “The Court further ruled that as a black man Scott was excluded from United States citizenship and could not, therefore, bring suit” (The Dred Scott Decision). Dred Scott was seeking his freedom as well as the freedom of his wife and kids. In the proceeding decision of his plea, Dred Scott and his family were denied the right to be considered citizens and were still entitled as slaves. A few years later Dred Scott and his Family were given their freedom.

Andrew Johnson was not elected to fill Lincoln he was just elected to be his Vice President. After the assassination he was put in a very hard position. Reconstructing the United States after the Civil war was going to be a heavy load for him. He planned to get some compliance from the seceded states and to unify the whole country back to as it was before the Civil War. He was put into situations where he wasn’t comfortably and was not prepared for them during his presidency. He was honestly only elected to try to keep balance between the north and the south and to win support of the pro-war democrats. Johnson did not really have much of an education Throughout the reconstruction era after the horrific civil war, Andrew Johnson was eager to create a more stable and strong nation.
...tution could really be seen as a practical approach to escape neediness, for example, begging for money on the streets. Despite the fact that both are illicit, they can offer a higher income than some respectable jobs in todays economy. Kant's hypothesis might subsequently appear to have blended ideas as to whether the idea of selling oneself is a respectable thing to do or not. It may esteem this as being good on the grounds that these ladies are getting to make money for their monetary profit, however in the meantime it is unlikely that this is the line of work that they wish to participate in. In spite of the fact that nobody can actually have their had turned and forced into this position, some people may feel as if this is the only resolution that will permit them to not be living on the streets with no food, no shelter, and no one to be there to help them.

In 1120, Robert the Monk recorded his chronicle of Pope Urban II's Call to Crusades. Robert the Monk was a Catholic Monk from France and was a chronicler for the First Crusade. In this source, Robert the Monk portrays Pope Urban's feelings towards Muslims as hostile and unfriendly, as he calls the Muslims an "accursed race" that was "alienated by God" (Robert the Monk). Furthermore, it focuses on starting a crusade, where the Catholic church would regain control over the promised land. Also, the main purpose of this article was to motivate Catholics for the crusades, and potentially view them as positive actions, as he expresses that the crusades are "the will of God" (Robert the Monk). The reliability of this source is questioned when you

Corporate governance also provides the structure through which the objectives of the company are set, and the means of attaining those objectives and monitoring performance are determined. Good corporate governance should provide proper incentives for the board and management to pursue objectives that are in the interests of the company and shareholders and should facilitate effective monitoring, thereby encouraging firms to use resources more efficiently.” OECD Principles of Corporate Governance.
