Robert Johnson
I went down to the crossroads fell down on my knees. Robert Johnson went to the crossroads and his life was never the same again. The purpose of this essay is to tell you about the life of Robert Johnson. He is the root of much of the music of today. If he didn't influence the musicians of today directly, he influenced the bands that influenced today's music.

Robert quit school as a teen and started working in the cotton fields. Robert left that life to travel and play his music. He began to play the guitar around the age of fifteen. Famous blues men; Charlie Patton and Willie Brown influenced Johnson when he was young. At age 17, Robert married Virginia Travis. She and their first baby died during childbirth. Johnson then went on the road. Robert traveled all over the Midwest and all the way down to Mississippi and Arkansas. He married Calletta Craft during his travels. She died only a few years later while Robert was on the road.
On November 23, 1936, Johnson recorded his music for the first time. The first song he recorded was "Terraplane Blues." It became a best-selling hit for Vocalon, a Columbia Records specialty label. In June of 1937, Johnson recorded for his fifth and final time. Johnson only recorded 29 songs during his lifetime. In the mid 1960's, Columbia Records released a compilation of Johnson's recordings called King Of The Delta Blues Singers. In the 90's, Sony released a box set that sold over one million copies. Robert Johnson's music can be heard all over the world and in many songs from this era. Famous musicians like Eric Clapton, Muddy Waters, The Rolling Stones, and The Blues Brothers redid many of his songs. Eric Clapton has said that Robert Johnson is "the most important blues musician who ever lived." Eric Clapton remade one of Robert Johnson's most famous songs "Crossroads" and The Blues Brothers remade another "Sweet Home
James Weldon Johnson was born on June 17, 1871 in Jacksonville, Fla. He is best known as being a poet, composor, diplomat, and anthologist of black culture.
In 1884, Joplin left home and traveled the Midwest for some time as an intinerant pianist playing in saloons and brothels. He settled in St. Louis a few years later and continued his studies. He found employment there in the city's prostitution district playing as a cafe pianist.
	Robert Hunter had his poetic beginnings in the Palo Alto, CA coffeehouse scene in the mid-sixties. It was there that he began writing poetry and found his future song writing partner Jerry Garcia.

Scott Joplin was know as the kings of ragtime. I will explain also explain how he grew up and what type of music he played. I will also write about why I believe he deserves the title that he has been bestowed upon him.
Robert was born on April 16, 1945 in St. Ann Jamaica (Stambler 442). When Robert was four, his father told his mother that they both were going to live with his nephew in Kingston. Eighteen months later, his mother found out that Robert was not going to school and he was living with an elderly couple. His worried mother went and got him. His mother moved on and married a more stable man named Edward Booker and had to leave Robert behind. Robert was homeless when he was eighteen years old. In 1963, he started living with his friend, Vincent Ford. Both were very poor. They would sing so their minds wouldn’t be on food (Bob Marley).
I was there when he crafted note by note, the songs that would become some of the most famous in the country. I was there in 1957, when Buddy Holly’s single, “Peggy Sue” made it on the top 10 charts. I was also there that fatal day, February 3rd, 1959, “the day the music died.” That is a day I will never forget. One second we were flying through the air, the next thing I knew, Buddy Holly was dead and the country would never be the same. Buddy’s death was even written about in a song by Don Mclean, called “American Pie.”
Johnny cash, the man in black is a country legend, him and the Tennessee two, made a name for themselves in the mid 50's. There orignal songs where gospil, but when trying to get a record deal was turned down for the gospil ,but then played a song Johnny cash wrote. The first hit was "Cry,Cry,Cry", other hits were " i walk the line","folsom Prison blues" , and others such as " man in black"" Hey Porter", and " get rhythm". Johnny cash marride his early wife Vivian Liberto in 1954, and moved to Memphis, Tennessee.His band The Tennessee two consited of Luther Perkins and bass player Marshall Grant. They were known for there sound, people say they had a "boom-chik-a-Boom" sound like a train. Johnny wore dark clothing which got him the name "man in black", and hestarted his performanced with the simple entrance "Hello im Johnny Cash". {wikipedia}

We will look into the life of James Brown. He is known for his music. In his life, he had to face many obstacles, but through determination, he changed his life cycle. We will touch on the influences in his life, developmental stage and theories that best fit his personality.
Our first individual, Thomas Hobbes, wrote many books about history, geometry, the physics, theology, ethics, and philosophy; however, the one that made him known as the father of political science and one of the great philosophers of all time is the book Leviathan. In it Hobbes sets out his doctrine of the foundation of a legitimate government that would basically fit human sin by creating an objective view of morality.
Thus, despite the arguments against euthanasia, patients’ lives should not be deprived of well-being, comfort or dignity. “In the last stage of life, every person is entitled to a high standard of care and a stable environment in which his or her privacy is respected” (Policy Options, 2013). A lot of the time, patients with terminal illnesses are thought of as ‘better off dead’ or ‘not the person they used to be’. This is all the more the reason why euthanasia should be legalized in Canada. The government should relax current laws and allow doctors to participate in assisted suicide if need be and are willing. If people suffering with terminal illnesses want to die peacefully and not endure painful procedures or live off machines whilst also helping society out money wise, the option should be available.

On April 4, 1965, Robert Downey Jr. was born in New York. At a very young age he began acting. In the 1980s he started his appearances on Saturday Night Live. Given the amazing life he was offered, he struggled trying to pursue his dreams. Although he had a great life a head of him, it was slowly deteriorating at the same time, as he struggled with the use of drugs.
