Inside Out may be a movie about human organs or scientific movie, but it is not it is about emotions. The emotions that are in Riley’s head are Joy, Anger, Sadness, Disgust and Fear as there main characters. The movie shows teamwork and working together as the main idea this is slowly shown over the beginning and then built and shaped in the end it was clear that they were trying to get that lesson acrossed. Riley is an only child and only 10 years old she has to move away from her friends and her emotions go out of wak because of the dramatic moving experience. In Inside Out, Disney presents the idea that working together and using eachothers unique talents is how a team succeeds, even when some talents seem useless. In the beginning of …show more content…
With both of them running together and dragging each other they made it together. They would not have made it if the memory workers were not there either and they had to work together to get of the island safely. An other example is where it shows how when the team does not work together things do not turn out great. Without Joy and Sadness in the head quarters the other emotions faut over what to do and then anger took over causing Rily to stomp off and yell at her parents. When Anger did not work together things do not work out right with the emotions fighting Riley reacted in a rational way. Teamwork was shown when Joy, Sadness, and Bingbong had to find a way to the train and then they worked together to have Riley wake up from her dream so the train would start to run. With them working together they made it possible for Riley to wake up and get the train running to get back to headquarters. It would not of been possible for only one of them to try to wake her up they had to work together to get the big clown out and wake her up. Going on into the end is where all of the teamwork examples are made …show more content…
Disgust had to figure out a way and she made Anger so mad and had fire coming out of his head using that to burn a hole in the glass to get Joy and Sadness of the ledge. With the use of Disgusts talent she worked together with Fear to get Anger mad enough to burn the glass. This was teamwork so that they all were able to get together and work together efficiently. After this scene Sadness and Joy both used the control panel together to make sure that Riley did not have another reaction they did it together as a team to help Riley. Sadness uses her talents to help Riley realize that he missed her family and that she sometimes has to be sad. With the team of Joy and Sadness they rebuilt Relies personalities and did it together. Then when Sadness and Joy were working together and Joy allowed Sadness to touch the core memories they made a mix core memory. All of Riley's core memories were focusing on the happy part of the memory but then they realized that those memories were sad. Also noticing that Sadness was not useless she is needed to have a more successful life. The core memory was just the start of all of the new personality islands. In the end of the movie Riley realizes that she needs to stop blocking out sadness and use it to have
As time goes on, more emotions are added and the control panel becomes increasingly complex. This demonstrates emotional development over time moving from childhood into adolescence. A great example of the exchange between cognition and emotion are Riley’s memory balls. Each memory ball has a central emotion that is felt in the memory. Riley has a set of core memory balls which shape the way Riley thinks and feels about the world. Joy prides herself in the belief that all of Riley’s core memories are shaped by joy. Joy is the leader of Riley’s team of emotions and allows most of the team to serve their function. Joy is in control of keeping Riley happy, fear and disgust keep her from making unsafe decisions such as ingesting poison while anger protects her from others and gives her an incentive to be a better hockey player. Inside Out disproves the common assumption that emotions disrupt our thought rather than organizing them. Emotions shape our perceptions of our environment, memories, and
