Honoring the men who lost their lives in the bloodthirsty battles that took place during the Civil War, Lincoln took the stage to deliver the two minute speech. The two minutes Lincoln would spend up there would be remembered forever in American history. Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address speech exemplified great use of rhetoric by using ethos, logos, and pathos to enhance his argument.
