1. According to document A, these young people were motivated to make a contribution because they have already embraced a deep connection towards their fatherland and they were trying to support those brave volunteers who have jumped to their defence to get the necessities equipment that they might need for the battle. As a result, those kids has helped their Republic from their effort by extending the purchase of twenty-six pairs of shoes and twenty-nine pairs of socks for their compatriots.

2. Since previous years, young people were, unfortunately, have to take part in a war, despite their age. Children were situated into roles that were given by the government. Sadly, most of these roles have caused the death of so many young children. However, according to document A, the children’s role were to give their support to their nation, it does not matter what sort of support and how they deliver it, as long as they were able to help them in some sort of ways. Other role that the children were put into was shredding old linen, this happened in August 1793 during the French Revolution.

The aim of this text is to show people that, even though women are not as strong and powerful as men on the battlefield or anywhere else, they could still be independent women and support those men in different ways.
