The most popular character in the Pokémon franchise, this yellow little electric mouse that throws off electricity doesn’t live in a Pokeball (something humans use to capture wild Pokémon.) The yellow colour was added as it is a primary colour, so that children would be able to recognize it from a distance, and also at the time the only other yellow character competing for attention was Winnie the Pooh. Well, there's also a reason why many people look down on Pokemon games, and it's because of the lame plot. It is set in a new region called Johto, three years after the events in Pokemon RBY. But apart from that, you might as well have the same storyline as in the previous games. However, the localization is perfect (unlike some other games for the Game Boy and Game Boy Color), and at least the plot doesn't pretend to be something that it isn't.
Baseball has homegrown roots here in America. Starting in 1839 it instantly became a phenomenon that still captures American hearts and attention spans today. The Japanese created their own league called the Nippon Professional Baseball in 1920. Though they borrowed the idea and sport, there are key differences in how the game is played on the tiny island nation. In true Japanese fashion, they took an idea making innovations and improvements to create something resembling the past but yet having differences to stand on its own.
Competitive Pokemon first started in 1996, when the game first came out. Most casual fans picked up the games and went through it, enjoying the adventure and thrill of their first Pokemon journey. However, certain players saw strategies, combinations of moves, typing, and mechanics that led to a higher level of gameplay. Eventually, different rankings for Pokemon (tiers) were set up, Ubers being the highest (Mewtwo, for example), and OU (OverUsed) for more common but powerful Pokemon, such as Alakazam or Starmie.
Colored fire is a common pyrotechnic effect used in movies, fireworks and by fire performers all over the world. Generally the color of the flame may be red, orange, yellow, or white, and is controlled by blackbody radiation from soot and steam. When additional chemicals are added to the fire, the flame would appear a different color according to the other chemicals. Flame coloring is also a good way to show how chemicals change when heated and how they change the matter around them.
