The Bermuda is a myth because of the paranormal activity happening and mysteries. What makes the Bermuda triangle a myth is that it has been handed down being told throughout the centuries. The Bermuda triangle is also a myth because it explains what we can not.

In the scholarly journal, “The Bermuda Triangle Mysteries: An Explanation Based on the Diffraction of Heat Waves (2000)”, physicist Ernest C. Njau claims that the mysteries noted in the Bermuda region may be accounted by the Eastward-moving heat waves along the Earth’s surface as they cause changes in the weather and ocean patterns that could play a big role in the disappearances over the Bermuda Triangle. Njau provides the readers with another credible possibility that could be responsible for the disappearances and mysterious lost ships and planes in the Bermuda region in order to prove that paranormal phenomena may not be the cause behind these sudden disappearances. The research cited explains that the Eastward-moving heat waves along the Earth’s surface “to a large extent, account for the mysteries already noted in the Bermuda region” (Njau). In the academic journal, “Hydrates Represent Gas Source, Drilling Hazard”, senior researcher in geology and associate professor Elchin Bagirov and senior geophysicist Ian Lerche, purport that the mysteries of the Bermuda Triangle can actually be explained by the phenomenon of hydrate crystals ruling out paranormal phenomenon. Bagirov and Lerche cite a variety of diagrams that they claim show the special properties of hydrate crystals and their effects to indicate their relationship with the mysterious disappearances of ships and aircraft in the Bermuda Triangle. The authors provide a scientific and rational explanation for the numerous mysteries of missing ships and aircraft in the Bermuda Triangle in order to persuade the readers that the mysteries surrounding the Bermuda Triangle can be explained by actual scientific

In my opinion, the Bermuda Triangle can not be proven real. It also can’t be proven fake either. All the incidents that have happened in that area can’t be explained. If there is a reason that all these things are happening, then someone might find out. It might just be coincidence, or it might actually be a real problem in the middle of the ocean. One thing about the Bermuda Triangle that caught my attention was that a lot of incidents happen in December. It might be the weather that affects the ships and planes that pass through at the time. The weather could affect the way the ships and planes function and cause a failure of somesort. There has to be a reason that everything happens only in December. That is my opinion on the Bermuda Triangle. the main thing i think is that it might be real or it might be fake, but we won’t ever know until it is proven.
... Clearly, the urban legend Bloody Mary has impacted countless people around the world, especially in the United States, even sparking the emergence of numerous other urban legends based on the same principles. Many aspects of the original story have changed—there are countless variations to the particular legend. Bloody Mary has played on people’s desire for excitement and it is also a way to release anxiety and experience some fear.
As amazing as this discovery sounds, there have been many attempts to find the truth about the island and some truths have been revealed which lead to other questions and more obsessions.
“In total, six airplanes and 27 men appear to have vanished” (How). On December 5th of 1945, five U.S. Navy bombers went missing without a trace of why. Later a rescue plane was sent to search for the plane and the survivors, but those planes disappeared as well. That incident is one of the most famous and well known disappearances in the area (How). The Bermuda triangle is an area in the Atlantic Ocean which many people believe mysterious disappearances have taken place. It reaches Puerto Rico, Florida, and Bermuda in a triangle shape that covers approximately 500,000 square miles (History). The mysterious disappearances in the Bermuda triangle are myths as evidenced by people who travel the area safely every day, there is no scientific proof of the mysteries, and there are scientific reasons why people have disappeared.
The mystery of The Bermuda Triangle has proven time and time again to be one of the world’s most bewildering phenomenons, and has kept scholars and conspiracists alike scratching their heads. It has defied all aspects of logic, science, likelihood, and probability. According to a late September, 2017 article by Holly Christodoulou, a writer for “The Sun”, “The Bermuda Triangle seems to have laid claim to at least 1000 lives via the mysterious disappearances of massive man-made vessels such as planes, boats, and cargo ships that remain unfound to this very day” (https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/2021520/bermuda-triangle-ships-planes-conspiracy-theories/).
It is a legend that has terrified sailors since Columbus first sailed towards America. Its name is not on any official map, but a quick Google search turns up 10,400,000 web pages, and 101,000 books. What legend is this? It is the legend of the Bermuda triangle. A host of theories attempts to explain the supposedly abnormal events in the Bermuda triangle in a supernatural or physically impossible way. These theories attract the most attention, and are what have promoted the Bermuda triangle to the status of “Legend”. Now, let us explore some of the more prominent ones, namely the Electronic Fog theory, the Hutchinson effect , and government experiments with advanced radar at AUTEC naval base.

The Bermuda Triangle is an area in the Atlantic Ocean popularly believed to harbor strange and unexplainable occurrences within its borders. Many theories exist concerning the causes of these events, both supernatural and scientific. In analyzing the strange events that have occurred in the Bermuda Triangle and exploring theories surrounding the area, both supernatural and scientific, evidence will lead to the conclusion that there are logical, scientific explanations for what has occurred in the Bermuda Triangle. By analyzing background information, the culture surrounding the Bermuda Triangle, events that have occurred in the area, theories concerning possible explanations, and exploring other “Bermuda Triangles” on the Earth, the supernatural mystery of the Bermuda Triangle will be given a logical, scientific explanation.
Larry Kusche reported that many of the accidents reported in the bermuda triangle, were not in the triangle at all, and in many cases the incidences have been misreported due to sloppy research. Larry Kusche would later note that “Berlitz’s research was so sloppy that ‘If Berlitz were to report that a boat were red , the chance of it being another color would be almost a certainty” (Radford, 1) Another reason for all of these disappearances may be due to methane bubbles that turn the water into fragile froth that can't support the weight of the boats and inhales them into the ocean.
The Bermuda Triangle, also known as Devil’s Triangle is an imaginary triangle located between the points of San Juan, Miami, and Bermuda. Christopher Colombus was the first to report odd happenings in the triangle. He claimed that odd lights appeared in the area, and that his compass was acting odd. Afterward, countless reports of missing ships and planes in the area have been noted. No one has an answer to the mystery, however several theories have been developed. The Devils Triangle is a common mystery and a contreversial subject because of the mystery that surounds it, the specific disapearances and paranormal activity that has been publicized, and researchers attention to the topic by their efforts to formulate theories and explanations to solve the mystery.
Legends are popular stories that usually have famous people in them, for instance gods, or frightening people and most legends can’t be authenticated because of the inhumane features it includes or maybe simply because no one is still alive to justify something actually happened. Today i’m going to share one of my favorite legends which took place on a vast part of the ocean where there was an abundance of islands that didn't contain much distance in between them. The people living on the islands, lets just say they were not your typical human being, but actually said to be half god and half human.
The disappearance of Flight 19 and the USS Cyclones are just some of the things that occurred and are based on the Bermuda Triangle. Theories like the Methane Hydrate and others are merely assumptions made by scientists in hopes of unfolding the mystery of the Triangle, when in reality we will never know for sure what happens within the Bermuda’s itself. The island is full of many unknown secrets. This makes this place a very interesting place to explore. The only problem is that the island is cursed. The curse on this island proves the existence of the intricate booby-traps, pirate origins, and several unexplained deaths. Oak Islands is an island is a place known to have buried treasure somewhere amidst all the tunnels underneath it. The place has had many unexplained deaths occur on it. People go missing trying to find a treasure hidden deep in the bellows of Oak Island. The explorers go in hopes to find the treasure that the pirates left it. It says that the origin of the island is from pirates. Lastly, underneath there are many elaborate tunnels. The origins of Oak Island play a big part in the curse. One thing that has elaborate booby-traps all around. Some may say that it is just a part of the landscape, but why would these “landscapes” just so happen to be all around these tunnels. These traps are most likely trying to conceal the treasure. The way they do is by things such as the tunnels filling with water. In one article they state, “The Onslow Company had inadvertently unplugged a 500-foot waterway that had been dug from the pit to nearby Smith's Cove by the pit's designers.” (Keyes, 1996). This pit fills up the tunnels when walking into them, and then they almost instantly drain out. These tunnels strategically place themselves all throughout the island, and the waterways are just like little traps. Explorers believe that they hide something from the world. People who try to go and find the treasure are just doomed to die. This one reason is why this island is cursed, but other details also help prove that
