The Bermuda Triangle is a Myth “In total, six airplanes and 27 men appear to have vanished” (How). On December 5th of 1945, five U.S. Navy bombers went missing without a trace of why. Later a rescue plane was sent to search for the plane and the survivors, but those planes disappeared as well. That incident is one of the most famous and well known disappearances in the area (How). The Bermuda triangle is an area in the Atlantic Ocean which many people believe mysterious disappearances have taken place. It reaches Puerto Rico, Florida, and Bermuda in a triangle shape that covers approximately 500,000 square miles (History). The mysterious disappearances in the Bermuda triangle are myths as evidenced by people who travel the area safely every day, there is no scientific proof of the mysteries, and there are scientific reasons why people have disappeared. The Oceans that take up …show more content…
There is camera proof of pictures of clouds and proof from the U.S. Coastguard of reasons for accidents in the area. The area is a dangerous part of the ocean for those reasons, but there is nothing mysterious about it. Also, there is no proof of the remains of people, planes, and ships because the Gulf Stream carries them elsewhere, but they have not disappeared, they have just been moved and altered. It is impossible for anything to stay in the exact spot it landed in the ocean because of the constant movement in the water. There is no evidence of the remains of people, but there are several contributing factors to why people have crashed such as: the underwater topography, the current of the Gulf Stream, and methane gas hydrates. There are very deep trenches in that area and it is unlikely that ships there will be found. The current in that area is also extremely strong and can misplace evidence of ships
This paper will prove it will remain unknown if the Unidentified Flying Object (UFO) crash sighting at Roswell, New Mexico on July 4th, 1947 did happen, although the government is hiding Extraterrestrial information there. The following is a list of terms that may become confusing to some readers.
The Roswell UFO incident is considered to be the most controversial and well known capture of an alien craft and its occupants. It is still unknown to the public and the United States Military still maintains that the crash was that of a secret balloon. Information has been concealed and misinterpreted since the incident, the people may never know the true story of Roswell. Or if the military press release really is true and all that truly happened was a crashed surveillance balloon.
Some time in July of 1947, a mysterious flying object zigzagged across the skies of New Mexico. Within twenty-four hours the object disappeared from radar just as mysteriously as it had appeared. It was last seen in a small town in the middle of the Arizona desert, it’s name, Roswell.
What is something the Malaysia Flight 370, the Lake Anjikuni Inuit Village, the Village of Hoer Verde, and the Mary Celeste all have in common? In all cases, a strange phenomenon occurred- a large group of people disappeared, practically without a trace. The same goes for the “Lost Colony” of Roanoke. There are many theories of what could have happened to the folk in that town way back in the 1580’s. They could have moved west, they could have eaten each other, they could have even been killed by irate Natives. There wasn’t a lot to go by- Only the word Croatan carved into a tree trunk- and when there aren't facts, people find explanations for themselves. Unfortunately, lots of them being crazed conspiracies and alluded-to alien abduction.
This event proved to, the most famous US Navy losses which have occurred at the area famously known as the Bermuda Triangle are USS Cyclops in March. The ship probably sank in an unexpected storm, and traces of them have never been found. This event indicates that there is another nature that is unknown to the human world of the jinn. In addition, this event can be proved from the Holy Quran that Allah said:
Nobody knows what happens to the ships and planes that crash and sink when they do; all they know is that they disappear and are never found again. A nickname given to the Bermuda Triangle is “The Devil’s Triangle” because many unfortunate events have occurred in that area of water. Even though evidence shows that a majority of the events weren’t reported accurately, false, or exaggerated by other authors, I believe that the Bermuda Triangle isn’t just false reporting and exaggerated authors telling a story about a ship or plane crashing in that area. I believe that the Bermuda Triangle could possibly be responsible for all those plane crashes and shipwrecks. The Devil’s Triangle is located just off the southeastern coast of the United States in the Atlantic Ocean, with the most terrifying spot being in the Bermuda, Miami, Florida, and San Juan, Puerto Rico.
In the middle of the night on March 8, Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 and 239 people disappeared without a mark. The world watched as the most wide search in history turned up nothing.
It is a legend that has terrified sailors since Columbus first sailed towards America. Its name is not on any official map, but a quick Google search turns up 10,400,000 web pages, and 101,000 books. What legend is this? It is the legend of the Bermuda triangle. A host of theories attempts to explain the supposedly abnormal events in the Bermuda triangle in a supernatural or physically impossible way. These theories attract the most attention, and are what have promoted the Bermuda triangle to the status of “Legend”. Now, let us explore some of the more prominent ones, namely the Electronic Fog theory, the Hutchinson effect , and government experiments with advanced radar at AUTEC naval base.
Several ships have disappeared while traveling through the Bermuda Triangle. In 1918, the USS Cyclops vanished. The ship was carrying cargo from the United States to Brazil. It had an identified inoperative engine that resulted in its speed to decrease to 10 knots. The commander suggested that the crew return to the United States but the USS Cyclopes continued on its trip regardless. Subsequent to leaving Barbados on March 4th, the ship disappeared (Brennan). Second, the S.S. Marine Sulphur Queen was traveling from Beaumont, Texas to Norfolk, Virginia in 1963. On February 3rd, the captain radioed his location near the Bermuda Triangle but never made it to Virginia (Obringer).
Long, Long ago. North America and Europe were separated by continental drift. Throughout the millions of years of separation people living in North America and people living in Europe began to evolve differently. People on the different continents din't even know the others existed. Then, after many years of separation people began to conjugate theories. Including if you sailed too far down you would be set on fire and go to Hell. Another theory was if you sail too far you could fall off the Earth. One man named Christopher Columbus had a theory. Christopher's theory was if he kept sailing he would arrive in Asia very quickly. So Columbus received money from the monarchy to test out his theory. Columbus set sail and after a while he hit land.
As the name suggests the Bermuda Triangle is a triangular region in between Florida, Bermuda, and Puerto Rico. Even with massive evidence pointing towards the contrary, Most real ships and planes that “disappeared” in the bermuda triangle disappeared during bad storms and other extreme weather conditions, other times the ships/planes sank far outside the Bermuda Triangle but were attributed to some “supernatural” cause, for example the Bermuda Triangle. Sometimes the ships and planes that disappeared were not real at all (Radford), there is still a large amount of the general public that believes that the Bermuda Triangle is a magical
“Bermuda Triangle,” I enter in the search bar of google, popping up with many sites. I would sit in my chair and read for hours. Scrolling down the page, I randomly clicked the letters in blue, leading me to a Website called “Museum of Unnatural Mystery,” mentioning the abnormality of large numbers of plane disappearance. I continue to read further, visuals of the water forming a vortex hole to devour ships and planes. The mouth of vortex leading below the ocean, lightning flashes down to the surface and magnetic force pulls on the objects passing by. A USS cyclops, a US navy ship, went missing in this region, which is a famous case. The mysteries continued to intrigue me. What could be the cause of this?
During the past century more than 50 ships and 20 aircraft sailed into oblivion in the area known as the Bermuda Triangle. Exactly what happened to the ships and aircraft is unknown. Most disappeared without a trace. Few distress calls and little, if any, debris signaled their disappearance (Baumann 44).
In almost every account of the mystery surrounding the Bermuda Triangle, you'll see reference to the fact that it is one of only two places on Earth (the other being the Devil's Sea off the coast of Japan) where a compass points to true north rather than magnetic north. Theorists say that this causes compasses to malfunction and ships and planes to get off-course.
The debris of the plane was suspected to be in the southern Indian Ocean, but was found closer to the Australian coast. Since the debris was found closer to the coast some of the debris will later end up washed upon shore of Australia and other possible countries/continents. This can cause several issues, one reason being that planes are widely made of aluminum. Aluminum can be very harmful to marine organisms because its ions can react with phosphates, which the reaction will cause it to be less available to marine organisms. Other issues include organisms getting entangled in the garbage, choking on any potential pieces of garbage and scrap metals. Marine organisms are in danger and are threatened by the debris in the ocean.
