Divine Inspiration, Akiane Kramarik Initially the writer of this essay was very excited at the prospect of researching the binary prodigy, Akiane Kramarik. Unfortunately, this author became quite skeptical while reading Akiane, Her Life, Her Art, Her Poetry written by Akiane’s mother, Foreli Kramarik. Alas, the book includes obvious exaggerations when recounting the family’s financial and past living conditions. However, after reading Akiane’s explanation of the allegories contained within her paintings this writer’s excitement returned, for Akiane describes her paintings with a touching sincerity, absence of guile, and an unreserved faith. Eksteins examined ways in which life influenced, imitated, and even became art. Eksteins argues that life and art, as well as death, became so intermeshed as to be indistinguishable from one another.
I chose to analyze the The Family, 1941 portray and The Family, 1975 portray, both from Romare Bearden, for this essay because they are very similar paintings but at the same time very different. To write a critical analyzes it was necessary to choose two different paintings that had similar characteristics. The text about critical comparison said that to compare things they have to be similar, yet different, and that’s what these paintings look to me. As I had already written an analysis of The Family, 1941 portray I chose to analyze and compare The Family, 1975 this time. Both works have a lot of color in it and through the people’s faces in the pictures we can feel the different emotions that the paintings are conveying.

Norstein has a very original, particular style to his animations and the purpose of this essay is to critically analyse the form and ideology of one of his animations with the intention of discovering what it is that makes his artwork so unique and has led to him being regarded as one of the greatest animators in history?. The method by which this will be done will be to firstly report the elements and functions that went into forming Norstein?s animations and ?Hedgehog in the Fog? in particular, then to analyse how these elements .mix with his personal influences to imply further meaning within his work.

Yayoi Kusama is an artist who does many sorts of work, but all of them are similar in one way. They’re all full of repetitive patterns. Recently she was named by TIME magazine as one of the top 100 most influential people. Her art is extremely distinct, but that’s not all there is to her. She has a very strong view on world peace and promotes people to be gentle and caring to each other. All of these beliefs are extremely influenced by her childhood.
Images help us make sense of our world and provide different perspectives on how we might view it. These variety of perspectives is certainly evident through the distinctive images that have been created in the play “Shoe Horn Sonata” by John Misto and the poem “The Hero” by Siegfried Sassoon. In “Shoe Horn Sonata” Misto uses unique/ distinctive images to commemorate the experiences of others and to show the audience the injustice,cruelty of the Japanese and the resilience and resourcefulness of the women Bridie and Sheila. Similarly in the poem “The Hero” Sassoon uses images effectively to help the audience recognise the fallen veteran “Jack” and to show the brutality and pointlessness of war.
When first approaching this work, one feels immediately attracted to its sense of wonder and awe. The bright colors used in the sun draws a viewer in, but the astonishment, fascination, and emotion depicted in the expression on the young woman keeps them intrigued in the painting. It reaches out to those who have worked hard in their life and who look forward to a better future. Even a small event such as a song of a lark gives them hope that there will be a better tomorrow, a thought that can be seen though the countenance by this girl. Although just a collection of oils on a canvas, she is someone who reaches out to people and inspires them to appreciate the small things that, even if only for a short moment, can make the road ahead seem brighter.

He offers critical discussions of Wollheim, Heidegger, Merleau-Ponty, Lacan and Dufrenne to demonstrate this.
