I have planned my lesson this way starting with the aim, goals, primary and secondary problems and ways to solve them to create a non exhaustive document that describes every classroom scenarios. Providing me with a general outline of my teaching goals, learning objectives and means to carry out them. Though I know that it cannot go exactly as planned, but I know that both students and myself will learn from each other.

I chose the topic because many students find the difference between present perfect tense and past simple very confusing. To help them, I have created this lesson plan to help them hoping they will get to understand the difference between the two tenses and how to apply it when speaking, writing and reading.

This is a reflection activity that will give students the opportunity to self-assess their performance and show on what they have learned.

Pair activity, the activity allows students to communicate and the use of tenses in their daily life’s and how tenses used when speaking.
Dialogue questions, it's an activity that is good for drilling and allowing the teacher to see which part of the lesson is lacking that requires drilling. Assessing students through speaking and listening, the feedback from the students will also show the extent to which students achieved the goal of developing effective storytelling using past simple and present perfect.

The opposite technique is a guessing sport or true lies that enables students practice making positive and negative past simple and present perfect questions.
