Hey, I didn’t see you there, how are you?I'm just wondering whether or not a big ol' grizzly bear is going to come charging at me at any point in my life, but seeing as grizzly bears are endangered that probably won't happen. In the past, there were thought to be around 50,000 grizzly bears in North America, nowadays they are growing sparse there are estimated to be only around 1800, now not even a 20th of the population in the past. Most of these grizzlies are located in Yellowstone National Park and Alaska, but they can also be found in Wyoming, Colorado, Idaho and Montana. Some are thought to be in Washington.
Dog has been “man’s best friend” for ages. Around Franklin County, almost everyone owns a dog. Since many owners are farmers, people in the Franklin County area need a dog who will be loyal, can herd livestock if need be, and is obedient to its master. The best breed of dog that fits this description is the Blue Heeler, also known as the Australian Cattle Dog. Though these dogs are better suited for the rural areas, many people in the city own them as well. Sprightly yet independent, the Australian Cattle Dogs are great companions for single people and families alike. Blue Heelers are the all-around best breed of dog in Franklin County.
Unlike the maned wolf and coyote, Darwin’s fox lives in the temperate forests, especially near Chile, or any other place in South America. Some species live on Nahuelbuta National Park or in Chiloe Island. Alike the coyote and maned wolf, Darwin’s fox is omnivorous and a secondary consumer. It eats mammals, invertebrates, reptiles and birds as well as fruits. Because of it’s small size, Darwin’s fox is easier to get caught by predators such as wild and domesticated dogs as well as pumas.
Sweden, Germany, Scotland, and England are all countries from which my ancestors derived from. All of these ethnicities come together to form the two sides of my family that are living today. On my mom’s side of the family, her ancestors came from Germany, Ireland, and Sweden. On my dad’s side, his ancestors came from Sweden and England.

“200 years ago, there was around 16 million greater sage grouse; Today there may be fewer than 200,000” (Dantzker and Swartwout). The Greater Sage Grouse (Centrocercus urophasianus) is a magnificent bird that only lives in the Sagebrush-steppe habitat. This habitat is seen in the western part of the United States and also some area of North and South America. From the study above, it should be obvious that the greater sage grouse were considered endangered by Fish and Wildlife Organizations. However, on September 30th, 2015, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Organization removed the sage grouse from the endangered “candidates” list, and stated that they would enforce plans to help the conservation of these birds. People should be aware that this is

Foxes are lovely, calm, quiet creatures that always run as soon as they see humans, so this must show that they are definitely more frightened of us than we are of them. During a hunt the poor foxes are chased out of their homes even when they are only cubs and sometimes their parents and family are killed. This must be a horrible experience for them. Animals have their own rights and feelings as well as humans. We do not kill humans if they kill or eat a farmer's chicken or lambs so why should it be different for foxes.
The Fennec Fox, also known as the Dessert Fox, is the smallest species of fox in the world. Linnaeus, who is known as the father of Taxonomy, classified all foxes under the Genus Vulpes- Fennec Foxes are more specifically classified within the species as Vulpes zerda. As previously stated Fennec Foxes are the smallest known species of foxes- to give one a mental image, they are smaller than the typical house cat. Vulpes zerda’s head and body are roughly eleven inches long, with a tail around seventeen inches long. On average the female fox, a vixen, weighs .8kg. The male fox, a dog, is considerably plumper weighing an average 1.8kg. Unlike many animals within the animal kingdom, Fennec Foxes are usually monogamous. The Encyclopedia of Life explains further that “the pair lives with their offspring in a family unit of up to ten individuals” ("Vulpes zerda: Fennec,").
The silver fox is a branch of Vulpes Vulpes and is the domesticated version of the more commonly known red fox. The full taxonomy is Anamalia Chordata Mammalia Carnivora Canidae Vulpes Vulpes. Vulpes Vulpes originated from the Canids, which all canines such as wolves, dogs, and coyotes diverted from (Baldwin 3). After the split from Canids the foxes split into six different genera; they are the Grey Fox (Urocyon), the Bat-Eared Fox (Otocyon), the Pampas and Sechura Fox (Pseudalopex), the Hoary Fox (Lycalopex), the Crab-Eating Fox (Cerdocyon), and the True Fox (Vulpes). In all there are twenty-three species, twelve of those being Vulpes species (Baldwin 1). Red foxes are the most widespread of all wild Canids covering seventy million square kilometers around the world. Vulpes Vulpes is found in the Northern Hemisphere and the silver fox in particular is found in Russia and other regions with cold weather. The silver fox is a discolored red fox that accounts for approximately ten percent of all the fox colorations (Nat Geo 2).
We’ve all heard the tales of men killing dragons. Time has dinosaurs die over 40 million years before we existed. Can we really dismiss dragons as mere fantasy? “And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great red dragon, with seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads seven diadems” (Revelations 12:3).

The classification of a Fennec fox, as said by the Exploring Nature Educational Resource, falls into the kingdom Animalia. It is a eukaryote because it is multicellular. The phylum and class are both Mammalia because these foxes are not cold blooded, have fur, and reproduce their young internally. Its order falls under Carnivora because it eats other animals. Its family is Canine so it goes under Canidae. The genus and species are just the binomial nomenclature or the name of the organism. Their genus is Vulpes and their species is Vulpes Zerda. There is a lot to know about animal classification and its history.
One huge impact of global warming is the change in animals’ habitats. When the earth’s temperature is increasing, it creates the change of weather conditions in a certain area, which causes some kinds of animals in this area to live with many difficulties, or sometimes those kinds of animals are forced to move to new region when they cannot handle the difficulties. The arctic fox is an example for this situation. According to the article “How Does Global Warming Affect Wildlife,” arctic foxes prefer to live in the cooler environment while their habitat is getting warmer and warmer due to global warming, so arctic foxes have to leave their own home to seek a more suitable area (National W...
