Reconnection
In today's society self doubt and low self-esteem are big contributing factors in many people’s everyday life. Every person has their ups and downs and will go through a time of despair at least more than once in a single life span, this is a period where we lose connection with our inner-selves and we desperately struggle to find a solution. Reconnecting with oneself can be described as finding oneself again after incidents that causes change.There are many ways to reconnect with oneself. Being around friends can help with emotional support. Initially the reason why is because friends have a supportive motive, they like to reach out and make sure you receive the help you need. Go out and find activities that promote happiness, like going out to eat or going to watch a sports game, anything that creates personal interest of some sort. Another way people can reconnect emotionally is to go back home. In order to reconnect mentally one should put down the electronics. A lot of news on social media is about drugs, murder, shootings, and riots. When all someone sees is depressing news it takes a toll on one’s mentality making it more difficult to reconnect mentally. Another way to reconnect mentally is to keep a journal a place where one can write down thoughts, opinions and frustrations. Sleep is also important when trying to reconnect mentally. When one does not get enough sleep they will feel drained and tired making it hard to connect mentally. Finally, reconnecting spiritually with oneself makes it easier to reconnect entirely. A good way to connect spiritually is meditation. Meditation is good source because it releases positive energy that renews the body, mind, and soul. The mind also needs to have closure or peace.
