Mark Twain wrote the book The Adventures Of Huckleberry Finn for a reason. He wrote it to show what it was like during the times of slavery, and t describe the conditions of slaves. He used the N-word in his book, and used it to show how people talked. The word helped create the mood in the story. Many schools ban the book because of the word, and want to replace the N-word with slave. the N-word should remain in the book to honor Twain's choice of words in his book, and to teach about racism and slavery. The N-word should remain in the book for many reasons. Twain choose his words very carefully. Twain said, {The difference between the right word and the almost right word is like the difference between a lightning bug and the lightning bug}.
