Throughout time humans have always been able to find a way to express themselves. We can usually find something to do matching how we feel, some people run when they’re mad or maybe dance when they're feeling happy. In the United States a common thing to do when you're feeling a bit emotional is to listen to music and find something that fits your mood. Each genre is said to emote something different to the listeners. Pop gives off kind off a bubbly soda pop happiness, while rock can give an electrifying energy drink excitement. Rap music on the other hand gives off rather an aggressive vibe. Wiz Khalifa well known for being one of the first artist to smoke real “weed”(Marijuana) in a music video. Notably Khalifa has numerous amounts of songs dedicated to his love for the plant for example his famous song Roll up you can constantly hear him sing “ i’ll roll up, i’ll roll up whenever you need me baby i’ll roll up.” Later on when asked about the song he admits that he was talking about rolling up weed in the song. Not to mention he was shown smoking in the video. Another example of drugs being promoted is in a song playing everywhere Lil Pumps Gucci Gang on his famous hook he says “my bitch love do cocaine.” This isn’t the only antagonistic behavior present in rap music. Well known haitian rapper Kodak black raps on First day out: “on probation but i still keep that chrome, ill crack a nigga dome. Traded my AR for a Sniper, Traded my Draco for a Tec.” Kodak’s verse is displaying multiple names of guns that he owns. Kendrick lamar spits on his mega smash hit humble “ bitch sit down, be humble” telling people not to boast but to instead sit down and act modest.
