It can be hard to talk about racism, sometimes the problem is the way the word is defined or understood. People who has an aversion to the word racism believe that the word should be confined to the most extreme expressions of racial superiority. Racism should not be defined so narrowly. Racism refers to anything that has the effect of unfairly disadvantaged someone based on their racial background and can be expressed through belief and behavior.
