Everyone knows that all dogs have similarities, but they also have many differences. Each dog has a certain quality that makes them different. Some are hyper, and others are calm and relaxed. Different breeds may be aggressive or they may have a loving disposition. Each dog has certain abilities, but Pugs, Bulldogs, Beagles, and the Tibetan Spaniel are the best dogs for children.
With a loving disposition and an even temperament Pugs are great for kids. The Pug breed is known to carry themselves with dignity. Pugs are playful and always ready to have fun with you. Pugs get along well with all sorts of animals, even little children who like to run around the house. “The Pug craves affection and is very unhappy if his devotion isn’t reciprocated.” (Pug Britannica School). Though very playful and rambunctious, the Pug is a low-maintenance companion making it easier for older owners. Pugs are sensitive to the tone of your voice, so use a gentle and kind one while talking to them. They are clowns at heart and are bred to be companions. The Pug breed is stronger minded than other dogs and occasionally humans too. “They are good watch dogs, very devoted and are not yappers.” (Pug Britannica School). If not exercised frequently the Pug will get to be overweight. The name Pug comes from the Latin word pugnus, meaning “fist,” a reference to the dogs face. This dog exhibits stability to people of all ages. If you don’t like lots of hair everywhere the Pug is a great choice for you because they do not shed much. Pugs love to have someone to play with them when they can’t go outside.
The Bulldog is a good companion for young children and elderly because they are a very gentle breed. Bulldogs are dependable and affectionate. They are determi...

...they don’t start to feel like they are alone. Small dogs, like the Beagle, are suitable for living in the city or the country. Beagles are known to have a good sense of humor, so be prepared to laugh. Sociable, brave, and intelligent they are determined and watchful. “Beagles are curious and have a tendency to follow their nose.” (Beagle). They are very active indoors and a small yard will be sufficient.
The Tibetan Spaniel is a great dog for children who are lively and energetic. Tibetan Spaniels are bold and they have an independent spirit. “Because of their size, they are better suited for a home with older children who will know how to handle him better and with more care.” (Tibetan Spaniel). Tibetan Spaniels are known for helping people with therapy. Sweet but assertive and are aloof towards strangers. The Tibbies retain their watchdog tendencies to this day.
They are very loyal and protective dogs. They are extremely intelligent and can learn both numerous and various tricks in a short and fast periods of time. Some can be found to be laid back, while others can be more temperamental. These dogs are always looking for something to do and should be put in a home where they can look forward to daily activity, exercise and training. Although these dogs can be mistaken for aggressive and even sometimes dangerous, these dogs will grow to be what they are brought up to be. If you want a loyal, smart, loving companionship these dogs will be there to the
Australian films are usually criticised for their poor cinematography, weak storyline and terrible stereotypical actors. However, this is not the case for the superb all age 2011 film entitled ‘Red Dog’. Based on the true Australian legend, Red Dog is loved by many Australians; he roamed the outback in search for his owner John. This emotional movie amazed the whole of Australia, finding his way into the hearts of everyone he meets. The film portrays a positive picture of Australia’s national identity as many of the landscapes and Australian spirit can still be found across Australia nowadays, which is why Red Dog should enter the ‘Cannes Film Festival’. The portrayal of the setting, characters and language have all played
Are these dogs misunderstood? In reality a dog is a reflection of its human, they see you as a pack leader they are who you raise them to be no matter the breed. If you neglect your puppy by chaining them up outside their whole life or keep them in
People of different ages, young and old, will love having a dog or a pup around. They even treat them as their best friend. Nevertheless, you must also think of the possible consequences that come with owning one. Effective Dog Training is necessary for your dog and you should understand you have to make an effort to socialize your dog. You have to expose your dog to the outside world, so that it will not intimidate other people.
These dogs have good personalities. If people allow them, their dog will try to be the “alpha dog.” If the people show them that they are the “alpha dog,” the dog will sometimes throw the cutest dog tantrums. They will not bite, but they will act angry. Pit bulls can keep children entertained by their constant playfulness.
All dogs, like humans, have the potential to either be nice or mean, respond well or poorly to the environment, and interact with others either up to par with social standards or not. The amount and type of socialization
Having a dog can be a great experience for people who enjoy their company. These animals are usually friendly and active; they are intelligent and can develop a strong relationship with their owners based on love and care. However, having dogs is a big responsibility for the person who owns them, because they are animals, so they cannot support themselves. Dogs need someone who can feed them, give them love, and someone who can help them exercise. Moreover, these animals need big spaces in order to run and develop their muscles, so the owner has to know that he needs to take a walk with the dog several times a day.
There are many different dog breeds and they all have different temperaments, which is partly why many dog lovers are sometimes more particular to one breed than to others. Although not all seemingly unique breed behaviors are breed specific, most importantly aggression.

All dogs are unique, but they fit into categories. Every dog has traits that make them an Annie, a Lucy, or a Winnie. All types are good, but certain people fit better with certain types. A lover of animals, I like all dogs, no matter the type. Personalities make dogs fall into different categories.

Dogs are magnificent creatures, and when raised correctly, are adorable, loyal, loving animals. However it takes a lot of time, energy, and commitment to make sure that dogs are raised correctly. These animals have a lot of the same requirements that a human child needs. They also act as a child would. A new dog owner would do well to consider these points before they take on the responsibility of raising one of these incredible creatures.
David Almond explores the theme of imagination throughout his novel Skellig. From the first sentence to the very last, the theme of imagination was expressed through subplots and ideas. Questions and theories arose when Michael discovered Skellig in his garage. There were many situations throughout the novel where the reader has to think, ‘can this situation get better? do I believe that it can get better?’ David Almond activates the readers mind further by adding in winged creatures, both real and mythological, this allows each readers imagination to experience different thoughts about each activity in the novel. David Almond ties in belief and disbelief into the theme of imagination, complemented with excellent imagery, to create a vivid picture of the story in the readers mind. The story relates to David Almond more than most readers know. He had an ill sister when he was a child and Michael’s new house is very similar to the house that David Almond bought, right down to the toilet in the dining room.
