It is time to remove from the classrooms the importance that students choose to give to clothing brands and price tags. Because a school should not have any other distraction rather than learning. What kind of environment should we create for our kids to receive their education? A school where kids are constantly worrying about the latest fashion trends? Or a school where students are expected to arrive dressed with a neat uniform? It is difficult to believe that something as simple as students wearing school uniforms to attend class can establish a difference in students, teacher and parents’s life. It will prevent bullying and teasing, because putting every student in the same outfit will decrease the opportunity for students to get bullied or picked on. If it means teenagers will stop killing each other over designer jackets, then our public schools should be able to require their students to wear school uniforms. If it means that the schoolrooms will be more orderly, more disciplined, and that our young people will learn to evaluate themselves by what they are on the inside instead of what they're wearing on the outside, then our public schools should be able to require their students to wear school uniforms.
