Getting “Saved” also called “Salvation” or being “Born Again, are terms used as part of the vocabulary of many Christians, but what does it mean to get “Saved”? How does one become “Born Again”? The term “Saved” means to be saved from an eternity in hell when one dies. To be “Born Again” refers to being born a second time. First a person is born from their mother, and the second time through faith in Jesus, they are born of the Spirit into God’s family. There is a special process someone must go through to be saved, but it’s as easy as A, B, C.
“A” stands for Admit. The first step a person must go through in obtaining salvation is to come to the realization that they are actually a sinner. Most people think since they haven’t committed any major criminal offences such as; murdered, stealing, adultery etc., and they are nice and kind to others, that they are generally “good”. Unfortunately, if we look to God’s Word, the Bible, it tells us a different story. In Romans 3:10 it says: “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one.” And Romans 3:23 says: “All have sinned and come short of the glory of God”. Basically, sin entered the world back from the original sin in the Garden of Eden. In turn as descendents of Adam and Eve, we were born sinners. A lot of people don’t agree with this fact, and this is where many are stuck. If you think about how Holy and perfect God is, and try and compare us to Him, that’s where you can see how imperfect and sinful we are. To God, anger is a sin. Lying is a sin. Lust is a sin. So even generally “good” people are not good enough to get to heaven on ones own. Once they come to this realization, and can admit they are sinners on the way to hell, because they are not ...

...3: “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved”.
Finally step “C”, is to Confess your sins. Jesus has paid the price for all of ones sins past, present and future. All he asks is that a person confesses their sins and asks for his forgiveness, which He freely gives. Does being saved mean a person will never sin again? Of course not. People are human and will make mistakes. Does this mean one needs to get saved every time they sin? No, the Bible tells us that we can never loose our salvation. John 10:28 says: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.”
In conclusion salvation is not as complicated as one might think. God wanted it to be easy for everyone to attain, and yet still some people deny him and refuse to hear his word due to their stub earn human nature.
...lvation is achieved differs significantly among the various Christian groups, for example, the Catholic Church believes that salvation is attained through good works such as acts of charity and almsgiving, while the Anglican Church as a deeper focus on personal faith and acceptance of Jesus as the Savior. The concept of salvation is a driving factor in the formation of ethics and morals in the Christian faith, as individual desire to receive eternal life in heaven underpins many actions and choices that they make, such as the choice to attend church or participate in aiding the poor and helpless.
'Salvation' is the story of a young boy who has an experience of revelation. While attending a church revival, he comes to the sudden realization that Jesus will not physically come save him.
The next item up for discussion is salvation and how it can be achieved. Mr. Williams believes that Christ died for all sinners. He believes salvation is achieved by believing in and following Christ. He writes in his letter to the town of Providence, “All are equal in Christ.” (Williams) We are all God’s children and stand equal in the eyes of Christ. On the other hand...
... path and yet claim that we want to seek salvation. Because that will not only be a lie but it will be hypocritical as well. If we know the path then it is fairly easy for us. This is possible if we keep our eyes open and follow the instructions. But even if we do not know the path even there are enough guidelines for us to follow, which would take us to the end goals. However if we do not know where we want to go then any road might take us there but there is a catch to it. Since it might be taking us anywhere we are exposing ourselves to a big risk because it may be something that might work and it may something that may not. And for salvation it is a must that we ought to know for a fact that the things that we do will get us the desired level of end results. Ephesians 1:4 says, “For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love” It is God’s plan and will that we be sanctified. One that can enter heaven follows the will of the father and pleases god by keeping his word. It is required as evidence of the children of God. It means to let go of the unrighteous acts to do gods will by keeping commandments. If you truly know Jesus, you will walk the way he
B. Unconditional Election God has chosen some for salvation and some to be condemned. Whether or not one is predestinated for salvation can not be affectet by oneself. Its not because of what one has done or not done, there is no reason for the predestination and no possibility to change the own status.
The result of sin, then, would be considered a blurring of the image of God and a barrier between God and man. In addition, salvation is a process not of justification, but of reestablishing man's communion with God (Ware 155-161).
Although, God had more than one solution to the problem of sin by humanity. “Simply in order that through this gift of Godlikeness in themselves they may be able to perceive the Image Absolute,...
...ou want acceptance into heaven you have to accept Jesus Christ as your savior. For Everyman his Good deed’s wasn’t enough for him to get him into heaven. He needs to accept Jesus Christ as his savior and surrenders himself before him.
The particular family member that I was witnessing to I knew for a fact was going to be stubborn at my approach. My family member asked me about what I have learned in evangelism, and I told them about certain approaches to how those can reach salvation. From there I introduced the “Four Spiritual Truths” method that I say would happen to very effective if implemented properly. I said , “The four laws are: God loves you and offers a wonderful plan for your life, Man is sinful and separated from God, Jesus Christ is God's only provision for man's sin, We must individually receive Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.” Of course I received an uneasy response at first. i was questioned to why do I have to accept Jesus as my savior in order to be saved, why can’t it be that I can’t just be a good person to get into heaven. Of course I answered that with, “God wants us to be perfect holy beings in his pr...

Repentance, according to Alma, is baptism. Baptism is, through the symbolic purification of water, a metaphorical act of being born into the covenant of God. It is both a birth of water and spirit, thus fitting Jesus’s earlier definition. According to Alma, just as Jesus said to Nicodemus, a Christian who is not baptized cannot inherit the kingdom of heaven. When Adam receives the Holy Spirit and the ability to baptize, the Lord said to Adam, “Inasmuch as ye were born into the world by water...ye must be born again into the kingdom of heaven, of water, and of the Spirit” (Pearl of Great Price, Moses 6:59). In the context of these later verses, baptism is the practice that begins the process of being born
