Priscilla and Elvis have a long and complicated history, going through many different issues and rumors about the relationship. The two met in 1959 when Elvis was stationed in Nauheim, Germany and coincidentally, so had Priscilla's stepfather Paul Beleieu who was an airforce officer. Priscilla's father died in a plane crash when she was just 6 months old. Elvis was very popular around the world, even before she moved to Germany and met him. She said she had listened to his first record at just 11 years old while her family was stationed at a base in Austin, Texas. She states, “Three years later and 5,500 miles away I would meet him”. In 1959 she was out with her brother when another service member asked her if she was an Elvis fan, he then invited her to one of his house parties. Priscilla states that she remembers being nervous and didn't know what to wear, but ended up wearing just a little sailor dress. Are you a junior or senior in high school?” and when she told him she was in ninth grade he laughed and said, “Why you're just a baby”.
