Racism in itself can be a considered a monster by many standards. Cohen’s “Monster Culture” makes this seem so real when in comparison to his thesis’s of what monster culture can be seen as. He references the monster of something that has power and an advantage over anyone or group of people. While racism is the obvious monster in this scenario, Morton brings into question the monster of the police force as he includes the “Police Line Do Not Cross” tape in the image. Monsters create boundaries that should not be dared to cross. In Thesis 6, Cohen goes on to explain that a monster creates boundaries and anyone who goes beyond the boundaries is subject to punishment. The monster in this case created a man and that man created the boundaries
