Planet X. It sounds like something from a science fiction movie. There has been a lot of speculation about whether or not planet X really exists. Many people are obsessed with the theory that it exists and have done some really crazy things ,such as threaten suicide, because they are so disturbed about the planet. Maybe that is why it is also called the “doomsday planet”.
Planet X has also been named Nibiru and is considered the twelfth planet. The name Nibiru came from a book written by Zecharia Sitchin. The book told about a twelfth planet with an oblong orbit. It was supposed to get near the earth every 3600 years. The book was called The Twelfth Planet. The book told the story of a group of aliens who modified people genetically so they would become their slaves. She said that humans evolved on Niribu and colonized the planet in some previous orbit. The aliens were said to return to earth to cause havoc in 2012.1 The whole idea of a “doomsday planetary collision” began with a lady named Nancy Lieder. She started talking about planets colliding in 1995 and she believed that had an implant in her brain that gave her the ability to receive messages from aliens. She claimed that she could communicate with aliens and that she was sent to warn humans that there would be a collision that would end life on earth. She predicted that this collision of planets would happen in May of 2003. When the event did not happen in 2003, Lieder and her followers decided it would happen in 2013. This was in line with the end of the Mayan calendar.

I admit that I knew nothing about Planet X before writing this paper. I also admit that I am skeptical that it even exists. I don’t think I will go out and prepare for the big collision and end of the world because of this indormation.4

...rst two letters of the name Pluto-was chosen as the planet’s astronomical symbol. Unfortunately, we learn later that Lowell’s Planet X theory is incorrect. In 1978, Pluto’s mass was found with the discovery of Charon, Pluto’s moon. Pluto, being a small planet, would have weak gravity. Therefore, this diminutive gravity could not affect the orbits of Uranus and Neptune. The International Astronomical Union reclassified Pluto as a dwarf planet in 2006. It was also revealed later that the strange orbits of Uranus and Neptune were due to the erroneous value of Neptune’s mass.

Over a 1950 summer lunch at the Los Alamos National Laboratory, the great physicist Enrico Fermi asked his colleagues an unexpected question – “Don’t you ever wonder where everybody is?” Laughter went around the table as everyone immediately knew that he was talking about extraterrestrial intelligence [1]. If life arises fairly commonly, as Fermi believed, it follows that there should be advanced civilizations with the desire to visit and colonize Earth close enough to do so. However, there is no incontrovertible evidence of aliens on Earth, either now or in the past. This is called the Fermi Paradox. The lack of observational evidence for extraterrestrial intelligence is known as the ‘Great Silence.’[13]
Since the beginning of human fascination with outer space, the question “Is there life on other planets?” has existed and has waited to be answered. Early astronomers looking to find life on other planets were brutally punished by the Catholic Church. For years, people saw these astronomers as heretics for going against the church and undesirable, but today there might be evidence that supports these astronomers. Today, we find that people are still split between believing in alien life or not. People devoted to a religion tend to disagree with the possibility of life anywhere but Earth as it goes against their beliefs. However, with the increase of realistic movies about aliens and very convincing theories, many young people are beginning to believe that life on other planets does not seem so radical after all. Each day, scientists find more and more predictive evidence that leads most of them to believe that there is life on other planets.
Although Pluto was discovered in 1930, limited information on the distant planet delayed a realistic understanding of its characteristics. Today Pluto remains the only planet that has not been visited by a spacecraft, yet an increasing amount of information is unfolding about this peculiar planet. The uniqueness of Pluto's orbit, rotational relationship with its satellite, spin axis, and light variations all give the planet a certain appeal.
The existence of life – Aliens, beyond our planet has been a controversial topic for several centuries, and is a debatable issue even today in the 21st century. What is our topic you may ask? Aliens, Do, Exist. According to theoretical physicist, Stephen Hawking, it would be improbable for life not to exist somewhere other than Earth. This is a bold claim, but there is evidence to support this statement. The evidence we seek is in the many Alien occurrences we have experienced throughout human history.
The findings in this book could easily be compared to real findings, throughout history we have been looking at finding proof for existence of life out in the universe and we have found several meteorites throughout times. Though they are not as significant as the discovery in the book where they are found during presidential elections and with fossils on it, but today when people are looking in space and saying our future lies there; reading the book has made everything just more interesting and exciting. "If this discovery is confirmed, it will surely be one of the most stunning insights into our universe that science has ever uncovered. Its implications are as far-reaching and awe-inspiring as can be imagined. Even as it promises answer to some of our oldest questions, it poses still others even more fundamental"
