These six icebreakers below can help with team bonding, teamwork, or just enjoying the presence of team members. The “Photo Scavenger Hunt” is an activity which helps with team bonding. The materials needed for this activity are a camera per group and a list of items to take pictures of. The objective of this game is to have one group take the most pictures of the listed items. Each team playing this game will have 15 to 20 minutes to take the pictures. The list may include landmarks, office supplies, etc. The "Would you Rather?" activity is a foolish game. The “People Bingo” activity is a fun way to get to know other people’s likes and dislikes.
To play people bingo you will need a template you could just find a normal empty bingo card, fill in the empty spaces with things such as “ blank has two dogs.” or “ blank lives on a farm.” Things that would help you get to know people in your group. Than print off those cards. Give one card to each person and give them about 1ten minutes to go around and fill in the blanks with someone's name from their group. The “Never Have I Ever” activity can help to get to know with the team. This doesn’t need any materials. Everyone sit in a circle and put 10 fingers up. The first person will say something that they never done before like “Never have I ever been to New York.” The people that have done it have to drop one of their fingers. Each of the members do this with everyone until there’s one person who still has their fingers up. The winner is the last person who the most fingers
up. The “Add a Word” activity is an excellent way to show the creative abilities of members within a team. The materials needed for this activity are people and a topic. A group of co-workers form a circle and are given a topic to tell a story about, for instance, the Three Little Pigs. A person in the circle starts with one word and then the next says another word and so on. Once the circle has gone around once, then another topic is added to the original story. Once the circle has gone around five times, then the activity is done. The “hula hoop” activity is a game focused on teamwork. The materials needed for this activity are people and a hula hoop. First, the people who are taking part in this activity have to make a circle. Then a hula hoop is given to one of the people. The hula hoop is to be put around that person's wrist. With the hula hoop around that person's wrist, then everyone holds hands. The objective of this activity is to maneuver your body through the hula hoop in a small amount of time. The hula hoop has to rotate around in a circle before the activity is over. If the team doesn't achieve their time limit then they will receive a punishment, for instance, running around in a circle and cluck like a chicken. The ability to become a successful team member is a quality all work places look for. Activities like these may attribute to being more social with members of a team. The activities are meant to be fun but at the same time are supposed to bring people together.

This is where the team comes together and get to know each other and feel each team member out and work on finding each member’s strengths and weaknesses. During forming, the team will begin working on establishing trust and getting over their fear of conflict. Lencioni recommends that the team members spend some time talking about their personal lives to help establish trust. He also suggests taking the Myer-Briggs personality profiles to help facilitate learning each member’s strengths and weaknesses (2002). According to Prytherch, et.al. (2012), when individuals are brought together into a team, it can take a long time for that group to bond cohesively and reach the stage where it is working well. Trust and confidence between team members also takes time. To hasten the process, the new team should first undergo a team-building activity. The goal of team building activities is to promote greater interaction and cohesiveness among employees (Schnall

As part of our volunteer responsibilities, my roommate and I are to take turns being in the Volcano room and being with the main group, because Julie believes you get to better understand the kids this way. I was to stay with the main group and make nametags while my roommate and another volunteer took two (the number varies depending on the number of kids there that day) kids to the Volcano room for about 10 to 15 minutes (the time also varies depending on the number of kids there that day). I aided one of the girls with their nametag, helping them spell words, and finding stickers that represent who they were. I then had them help me complete mine to try to bond with them. Once we were done the groups switched to give everyone a chance in the Volcano room, and time to finish their

The team members compete for their position as they try to establish themselves in relation to other team members and the leader, who may receive challenges from team members.
The landscape of professional photography has changed dramatically, in some cases for the good and in some cases for the bad. I have been a pro photographer for nearly 40 years and have seen many changes. When I started in photography believe it or not I used a 4x5 view camera, yes that meant going under the cloth to focus, oh my! We then went to 2 1/4 cameras and now to Digital capture. I was one of the first to go completely Digital in the New England area and for the most part I was happy to go this route because when I did, it was not so bad with pro equipment blowing away any of the consumer based products. Jump ahead to today, the consumer has access to cameras that give outstanding quality for a low price and that brings us to the phrase
For 19 years, this photo of myself as a child posing with my grandmother has sat on my shelf. Growing up, my grandmother was an integral part of my life. For a majority of my life, she lived in an apartment above our garage. Without a doubt, I spent more of my childhood with her than anyone else. She was a role model and above all else a close friend. I do not remember this photo being taken, nor do I remember where I was when this photo was taken, but the contingency of photography forces me to recognize that the referent of this photograph truly occurred. Immediately, this photo speaks to the strong relationship between me and my grandmother, which in this case is the photographs studium. Anyone glancing at this photograph

Not only are we getting familiar with each other, each meeting that was held we progress of becoming an effective team member, we learn our strengths and weaknesses of everyone. During the meetings, we learn many concepts from the textbook, “Communicating in Small Groups: Principles and Practices” by Steven A. Beebe and John T. Masterson. We were able to learn different types of concept in the textbook and utilized it as a team to complete certain tasks. The three concepts that impacted my team and I are human
Teams are a major source of companies in these coming years. Teams are Heroes (Collins, 2009-08-27). Everyone wants to be a hero, therefore we need to build, follow, and be effective team members and effective team leaders.
