There is no doubt that pharmacy is a very broad field with various possibilities. The career where you explore biology and chemistry in depth. A career in such a field brings nothing more than excitement. The endless possibilities to study the complex world of medicine.

In high school I attended a pharmacy course for students who potentially wanted to be pharmacy technicians. This is where my interest in medications started, but I had already developed a passion for anatomy and physiology. I struggled with the names of medications thinking they were too complex. It was discouraging, therefore I was convinced pharmacy was not for me. Years later I found out there was a Pharmacy Technician Trainee program I could start to give me a hands on experience. Needless to say I was excited about the opportunity. I started working in the pharmacy where I met great pharmacists and patients as well. Continuing my education to learn different ways to help my community. Specializing as a pharmacist is one of my goals as well. I would love to work in research, clinical, nuclear, military or even veterinary pharmacy. Researching all there is to know about a medication, how they work on the body and how the body works on the medication would be a great opportunity. To be able to find a cure to a disease or help in the making of a medication for a particular disease. To have an idea, make it a hypothesis, examine various protein structures, make experiments, produce results, provide countless clinical trials, and be able to make a dream come true.
