Hi Mr. Helms!!!
I am completely aware of college procedures regarding tuition refunds. But, however most colleges will allow you to request a refund, partial or whole based on these factors:
You may request a refund or forgiveness of debt after the census date because of one of these special circumstances:
•a medical issue that prevents you from continuing your studies,
•your death or the death of an immediate family member,
•a national emergency declared by the President of the United States,
•an administrative error made by the College or
•you are going through extreme financial hardship.
Additionally, my mom has been disable for two years due to her accident on the job compounded by surgery she had to receive due to hyperplasia and then go to the ER Department but is now doing to significantly better. Additionally, my father had to receive surgery due to an incident on his job and has to stay out of work for 6 weeks(in which I do have this documentation). And my car got stolen in April but was recovered. My father said can he call you.

It is disheartening to my family and I that we have invested so much money and now we cannot even receive a small fraction of that money back specifically for the two courses I inquired about. Personally, I think I am way too nice because some people would go the legal route. Of this year, I withdrew from one class and that is transfusion, because of a dispute about grades and the unfair application of grading procedures and the emails from this current semester demonstrates
this. When I withdrew from transfusion by the 35% date I did not request a refund by the college and had no intentions of receiving a refund for this class. But for the remainder of the two classes, I had every intentions of the finishing the class but was suspended on March 31st and figure it would be too late to finish after April 6th, due to the instructor in-putting zeros in the system in Microbiology even though I had an A in the course and me receiving an non-copacetic or bad grade on the midterm in urinalysis. And that is why I requested a withdraw on April 6th during the appeal hearing, and due to medical reasons regarding my parents and not me. I completely wasted my time in urinalysis, I did phenomenally well on lecture tests but the instructor seem like she did not want to help me in lab and before I took the lab practical I requested help and was denied this opportunity even though she placed out samples for me to practice alone. But, she made room for other students. and the fact she made me use a different microscope other than my own during the last lab practical I took. I had to use microscope 12.
At times people estimate getting more money for school then receive less than what is needed. I myself in entering into college had trouble getting all of the money that was needed to pay for my classes. I was still owing money to the school and had to obtain different documents and my parent’s information and keep getting my grant processed to get enough money that was needed to pay for classes. The constant reprocessing made me receive my Pell grant super late and had to end up paying for books out of pocket and had to wait to be reimbursed.
Please provide a copy of the denial of your short-term disability and the reasoning for same. (see attached)
My name is Kaha Salad and I am appealing my Satisfactory Academic Progress suspension. Autumn semester of 2013 was a difficult time for me, I was going through many different changes in my life and I just didn’t know how to adapt. I experienced a personal event in the summer of 2013 that made my life change forever. My Grandmother Khadija died, she was the light of my family’s lives. My mother was immensely affected by her death, she went into a state of depression and she then stopped working. I took it upon myself to help out my grieving mother and get a job to help pay with the bills that was piling up. I began working
With the new rollover ruling, Mr. Adams does not need to include his gross income for any amount that would be distributed to another eligible plan within 60 days (IRC Section 408(d)).
The Federal Government has set guidelines concerning students who receive Title IV Aid and completely withdraw from school or stop attending courses. Any student making a complete withdrawal or that stops attending their classes who received a Federal Pell Grant, SEOG, Subsidized Stafford Loan, Unsubsidized Stafford Loan or a Parent (PLUS) Loan, will be required to pay back money to the school immediately if they drop out or stop attending courses before 60% of the semester has been finished. After the calculations are figured, the Financial Aid Office will notify any student that might owe money back to the Federal Government. Your Financial Aid Satisfactory Academic Progress status will also be evaluated at the end of the semester and you will be notified accordingly
Eligibility for the forgiveness: President Obama has announced for this program a while ago. The eligible persons for this program will be the students working under the government for the last 10 years. In the middle of this time, you need to repay at least 120 payments.
In all colleges in the United States, students are required to pay for their classes’ tuition either by themselves, their parents, guardians or a scholarship that they may have. The average tuition fee for an individu...

Proper school funding is one of the keys to having a successful school. Americans believe that funding is the biggest problem in public schools. School improvements revolve around funding. There needs to be funding not only in the successful schools but also the schools that aren’t doing as well. In documentary, Waiting for Superman, it talks about how smaller class sizes will help students. Funding is what will help the smaller class sizes. State funding mechanisms are subject to intense political and economic scrutiny (Leonard). Studies have shown that funding is inversely related to accreditation levels (Leonard). School funding needs to be increased, but there must be accountability as well.
I was taking my time with my decision and my parents were not happy that I was home instead of joining college. They then asked me to take A-Levels in law and business which I reluctantly agreed to in order to please them and get them off my back. Shortly after enrolling, I realized I found law really tough but I was determined to not waste my parents money so I persevered on. Fast-forward two years later, Im still trying to pass my Law papers. Finally I decided to tell my parents that I could not do this course anymore and they agreed. So for the next few months I was evaluating all my options on what to next. I decided to enroll myself in Help University Foundation in arts program because I felt it was a program that I could excel in could lead me to a degree in Accounting & Finance which is my goal. As an extra incentive for me achieve my goal, I paid for part of my fees when I enrolled in order to keep me motivated and
College is the key to a well suitable and successful life it opens the door for us to a wide opportunity of careers. It also helps people revolutionize the world with all the educated people inventing and discovering new advanced things. I believe that us Americans, if we want to go to public college it should be totally free for the ones who aren’t financially set to pay it off without going into debt and taking out school loans. The problem is that many of Americans are choosing not to go but instead go straight into the workforce due to the fact that college tuition is very expensive to afford for low-income families and even middle-class ones too. Knowing they have the skills to
activities are a crucial part of school because it shows you are involved into making your school
After dropping out of his first year engineering program at the university of Alberta, Jonathan Govias decided to sue his alma mater for a total of $140,000 claiming that the school failed to fully prepare him for what university had in store for him. Jonathan attended a private school, and as we all know private schools charge a large amount of money in order to provide a better education for its students. That is why parents enroll their children in private schools. Jonathan after graduating got accepted in the engineering program, which is a hard program to get into since a high average is necessary. Private education costs money, therefore making it a business that provides services and like any other business should be held responsible if their services fail, or does not meet the standard that the school promises to meet. I believe that the school is very much responsible for Jonathan's post secondary education. Private schools take pride in the fact that they can provide a better education than public schools and that they prepare their students with the tools they need to survive in the university world. It is also important to note that this case has not yet been decided in favor of Jonathan and that Jonathan should be given a chance to prove himself. The fact that this action against the private school is taking place shows that Jonathan has just cause for his decision to take his case before the judge.
