Student loans, they are one of the main reasons people are in debt today. You walk into college and someone offers to pay for all your classes, books and give you a little money after every semester. You’re wrong and i can prove to you why. Once you give in and allow someone to pay for your college you are in debt right away. There are two major things you could do and some more things you could do that will help you pay for college. They are, applying for grants and working hard in high school to get a scholarship. Grants, they give you money that you don’t have to pay just unlike student loans. If you work hard and do everything that your guidance counselor at school tells you to do. Yes that does sound like a good deal but that’s just how they get you sucked it. There are more thing they are not telling you such as; you have to pay back the money that they lend you even the extra money at the end of the semester, all of it. You’ll be going through college carefree spending all the money you make with your part time job, but right when you get to the real world and move into your home and get your first set of bill you will not have a penny to your name. You’ll be sitting there and thinking “How did i let this happen?” The answer to your question will be student loans, and if you had to take out a loan for your home then you’re in debt up to your eyeballs. At that point you won’t have enough money to pay your bills and every penny you make you’ll have to out towards your debt, unless you want to go into a lot more. Once your student loans sit for a while they start adding up with interest. So tell me do you really want to have student loans? Student loans might sound good when you’re 19 struggling to make ends meet, but in the long run it will ruin you. You won’t be able to spend money on the nice things that you want
