First of all, people have obesity is basically increase risk for developing chronic diseases and other health problems. Obesity is medical condition where excess body fat accumulates to become harmful to the body. Overweight can be a severe social handicap because who are teased, labeled, and stigmatized may have long term suffer from low self-esteem and feel uncomfortable with their bodies. Children who suffer from depression, anxiety, and eating disorders may have more difficulty controlling their consumption of food, exercising an enough amount, and maintaining a healthy weight. Many obese individuals appear to be a permanent cycle of mood disturbance, overeating, and weight gain especially when they feel sad, anxious, stressed, lonely, and frustrated. When they feel distressed and they though comfort eating may result in temporary attenuation of their distressed mood, the weight gain that results may cause a dysphoric mood due to their inability to control their stress.
