A bird? A plane? No, that is most definitely a drone, or an unmanned flying aircraft guided autonomously or via a remote control. These small aircrafts are used for recreational purposes, or for a beneficial addition to a business. A large majority of drones are used plainly for fun, as long as the flyer can clearly see the aircraft and the drone is less than fifty-five pounds. The most common recreational use of drones is taking aerial footage and photography through a conveniently attached camera. This provides for a beautiful bird's-eye view and admirable photos for framing or posting on various forms of social media. There is deep controversy especially on whether or not a drone would benefit as a war weapon. The positive side of the argument believes that drones are much cheaper than other weapons and in turn will bring military debt down. The negative side of the argument asserts that too many civilians are killed through malfunctional drones, flyers can suffer from trauma, and the technology of a drone is too simply hacked. An assumption can clearly be made that the debate of drone usage in war will continue into the future, for both sides pose good points. There is also belief that drones would be beneficial in natural disasters, especially in wildfires. The cameras on drones could stalk the fires direction and damage so that it is more easily stopped. Also, drone cameras can help gage the force of tsunamis and tornadoes so that citizens can be protected, and valuable knowledge can be gained for the experts. These small aircrafts are also presumed to be helpful environmentally, and pages of knowledge can back this statement up. In our opinion, we believe that drones positively affect the world. These small aircrafts are great toys and great workers too, and the benefits definitely outweigh the costs. The evidence that drones provide for an enjoyable recreational activity is shown through their popularity as a backyard game. A drone is relatively cheap, easy to control, and many people enjoy taking pictures and videos from perspectives that the drone can reach. A number of clubs and hobby groups have also formed through love-of-drones, which shows that when drones are used as toys, they can unite people to make them happier. The evidence that proves how drones are also beneficial for working and the environment, because in countless issues, drone footage is a part of the solution. This is happening in natural disaster efforts, business growth, war efforts, and tracking endangered animals as well as deforestation.
