“TO REACH MY DESTINATION, I HAVE TO START FROM MY DESTINATION”
Yes, Finally I am happy to say that I am few steps away from my destination which has been a very long pursuit of my life. I am proud and happy to say that I have dedicated my entire career till now to the field of metallurgy especially in Welding Technology and wishing to further my knowledge in Welding Engineering. With these few words I would proudly recognize myself as RAMANA MURALI SRINIVASAN with a hope and determination that one day I will prove to be an asset to this entire universe.
Hailing from an ordinary background, I am proud to say that I am the son of Mr. SRINIVASAN (Chef) and Mrs. VIJAYA NIRMALA (home maker). I am thankful to them as they are the soul reasons for

As soon as I finished my schoolings, I started to follow my dream towards metals as I joined one of the prestigious institutions “GOVERNMENT COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING”, Salem-TAMIL NADU, INDIA in METALLURGICAL ENGINEERING department.
I started my college life becoming an active member of the “GCE CHRONOCLES” which is the official newsletter of our college. Following that I was the Representative for two years from 2012-2014. I took up the challenging task of Placement Coordinator for our batch (2012-2016). I also joined INDIAN INSTITUTE OF METALS- Salem Chapter. I contributed my dedication to the society through my membership in Rotract and Leo club. I showed my gratitude towards my nation through my active participation in NATIONAL CADET

I am a trekker of mountains and one day while trekking to a hill top I found a just born rabbit. Being a lover of birds and animals, I brought it to my home but the rabbit disappeared the next day. Another day while trekking I saw a small bird which was hurt and I took it again to my home hoping it will not fly away but it did fly away after getting healed. Several months later I decided to plant a tree next to my house for getting some shade but to my surprise I found not only the rabbit and the bird but also many different birds and parrots on the tree in my home which is staying till now. This incident of my life made me to realize that even with surplus talent I may not achieve what I wish for unless I travel on the right path to achieve
I am exceptionally grateful for this opportunity to possibly be a member of this very prestigious organization. Every day I work tremendously hard to be noticed by both other scholars and my teachers. Now that an opportunity has come, I am truly excited to demonstrate and live by the values of The National Junior Honors Society. I hope to further expose and show both my dedication and want to join arms with my community and my peers and I wish to continue to work with passion and fire to shape the world into a brighter place.
The four pillars of the prestigious National Honor Society demonstrate the traits I hope to continually develop: as a scholar, a leader, a volunteer and a person of strong moral fiber. I believe myself to be mature and motivated; I have an unyielding commitment to scholarship and intend to make a difference in the lives of everyone around me. The prospect of becoming a member has prompted me to take a look upon what I wish to accomplish as a part of this organization. By becoming an active participant, my goal is to enrich my school experience by means of volunteering in the community, serving as a role model for my peers, and fostering pride for our school.
Even though welding has been around for a long time, most of the best inventors were around during the 19th century and have changed the way thing are done today. During the 20th century, many technological advancements developed and have made welding easier because of the different types of welding that have been developed. Welding impacted the world during World War l, because during the war armaments that were going to be utilized were ordered in tremendous amounts. Therefore, welding has been around since the Iron Age and has let people build strong steel and powerful armament such as Weapons, tanks, and planes. Finally, welding has had many advancements, and will continue to do so in the future, because the world needs
For current and upcoming welders the future is looking very bright. Because of this new. metal age the earth is going into more and more companies are in need of metal workers. The employment rate of welders is rising everyday. The jobs of welders (no matter what they are) are becoming safer by the hour with tons of new PPE and safer welding equipment.this will come in handy in the future, but although things are getting safer things are also getting more dangerous due to new technology, but that's a risk worth taking for this job(“Industrial Welding
I was the Silver Medalist in RGPV university specific in Electronics and Instrumentation Branch and completed my under graduation Engineering with honors (80%). I was also the member of student council in college for two consecutive years and represented class as Class Representative. This helped me owing to my excellence in communication skills and managing events organized at college level.
Real knowledge, like everything else of the highest value, is not to be obtained easily. It must be worked for, studied for, thought for, and, more than all, it must be prayed for”
Welding is an art, science, and high paying career all in one. Welding is the most effective way to join two pieces of metal, it is the only way to join them so they act as one. Numerous things in our daily lives has been welded from coffeepots to skyscrapers. Welding can be done almost anywhere outdoors, indoors, underwater, and even space (“Welding Basics”). It is practically

Electrical engineering is the major that I am pursuing during my college career. I decided to pursue this major because it is a career, which requires knowledge in other subjects, it is a career, which changes often, and everyday it provides a person with new problems to solve.
I have spent so much time learning about design through the paradigm of materials but now I want to connect mechanical aspects to the knowledge I have already gained. I am particularly interested in the research done by Dr. Drew Nelson, Dr. Sheri Sheppard and Dr. Friedrich Prinz whose work most closely fits my interests. I am interested in doing research in mechanical design as influenced by material usage. I am also looking forward to taking courses such as Imperfections in Crystalline Solids, The Magic of Materials and Manufacturing, and Nanomaterials Synthesis and Applications for Mechanical Engineers to explore topics I have already studied, but from a mechanical engineering perspective. Stanford’s combination of rigor and creativity appeal to me. I have always enjoyed a challenge and get great satisfaction from expanding my knowledge. Coming from a Materials Science and Engineering background where I have performed well, both in academics and leadership, I know I can be an asset to and learn from the world-class Mechanical Engineering program at
Welding is a very important tool used in our daily lives. Welding is the process of joining two metal pieces together by applying heat. A filler helps to make the joint. Everything we use from trucks to houses have some type of welding in them. There are many types of welding careers to choose from. There is a great demand for welders today. My project was to build a table and candelabra out of metal. Most of the metal I gathered came from junk yards and had to be cleaned of rust.
When I look at how mankind has evolved over years, it amazes me. My career goal is to become a mechanical engineer. I aspire to become skilled enough to create mechanics, which will improve people’s lives. I come from a very hardworking family. As the first son,a lot is expected from me to set good examples for my younger brothers.
A versatile individual and an ardent learner in all my chosen fields is how I perceive myself today. My childhood provided me a strong base of integrity and honesty upon which I have built a diverse skill set and a strong commitment to success. I opted for civil engineering as my undergraduate major at G.B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar, where my knowledge was enhanced by studying courses on Transportation Engineering and thus my liking for this field become much stronger. During second year of under graduation I went for training in Public Works Department, where I had a practical experience about pavement design and construction.
In 2010, I started my undergraduate degree course in Industrial Engineering and Management in the prestigious M.S. Ramaiah ...
During the past several years, I have developed some unique skills and education in India. Although I am sure that I will obtain an excellent education at the University of Northeastern, I will bring my own skills, education and culture to your program. I am prepared to face the rigors and demands of a graduate program at the University of Northeastern. At the same time, I believe that I will have a unique cultural experience in the United States and get a chance to meet people from other parts of the world. I am sure that with dedication and hard work, man can achieve the unthinkable and cross the toughest of hurdles. With this spirit, I intend to carry on with my further education at the University of Northeastern.
