As I was getting ready for bed, I started thinking what it would be like to be in the TV show The Walking Dead? I really hate The Walking Dead, but it seems fun to be in a zombie TV show and it's the only one I really know of. I turned the TV just to see what was on and sure enough The Walking Dead was on. I was a little confused, so I walked towards the TV. I was a little skeptical, I touched the TV and it turned into a vortex and pulled me in. Now that I am inside and a little scared, I started to think this was a bad idea. All I see are bald trees and it's extremely hot. I start walking toward the bright light I can see from a far distance. while i was walking I felt like something was following me, I turned around and there are five zombies following me. I start running as they gain on me. I have no weapons and no water. I continue running and see a dead man's body holding a knife, so I grab the knife and immediately turn around. They are getting closer so, I ran to the nearest one and go straight for …show more content…
the head. The first one hit the ground, so I run to the next and slice him and the same for the other three. I'm a little surprised I just survived that. Now that i am dying of dehydration, and I see a small puddle of water. I ran to it and immediately started drinking, not knowing the water was toxic. I immediately start hallucinating, I am seeing dogs, people, and many other land creatures. I walked up to the people I saw and nobody is listening to me, I'm screaming as loud as I can “HELP ME”. Nobody even pays attention to me, they just continue to walk like everything is normal. I can't even tell where I am at this point. I was eventually hit by something, realizing it's a zombie. I reach back and grab my knife and start pounding the beast with every bit of power I have. Directly after I finish with the zombie I pass out. I woke in a steel garage and I am no longer hallucinating. I try to stand, finding I’m too weak. I look around and see nothing but old car engines and tools lying on the floor. I see the footprints of oil leading to an open door, so I crawl to a bench and use it to help myself up. Following the track that leads to a kitchen, I see a young man in a rocking chair. I approach him slowly and ask “where I am?” He replies “dead if I find you behind my shed”. I stare at him very confused, and ask “what's going on”. He chuckles and says “have you been outside?” “Well of course I’ve been outside that's where you found me” I say very confused. All he does is laugh, he gets up and tells me to follow him. He takes me to a room filled with food and weapons. He turns to me and hands me a can of beans and tells me to eat. He tells me to pick a weapon, I choose a small handgun and one hundred rounds of ammo. He almost immediately tells me to leave. He gives me a bag filled with extra ammo, another gun, and food. Now that I'm alone again I try and build a fire to keep warm through the night, The fire was unsuccessful.
I walk about another mile and found an empty car that looked like it was in an accident, it had no doors, so i decided to sleep there. It was hard to sleep knowing you could be attacked at any second. I didn't do too much sleeping, so by morning I was drained of energy. I started a new journey, I was looking for any shelter. I found a small cot and approached the door, I as soon as I open the door twelve zombies come rushing out. I turn and run, I trip in a hole and drop my gun. I reach into my bag and grab the other pistol he gave me. I aim for the head, watching zombies one by one hit the ground. I ran back to pick up the gun I dropped and keep moving. I have food but no water, so I build a fire to eat. I’m lucky the food is moist and used the water from the fruits he gave me. I’m worried I might not last another
night. As I walk I ran into a group of people, when I ask for help they took my bag of food and ammo. They leave me foodless, although I still have my guns, but only two full clips left. I ran into a group of zombies, and shot them all with the few rounds I had left. Now I’m completely out of ammo. I have no food and no weapons, other than the knife he gave me. I ran into a black hole I saw in the distance, and once I reached the hole it pulled me back through and I woke up like it was all some kind of dream. Now that i was home i realize, i rather be home than in any TV show.
“The zombie frenzy is growing, and it has cast its shuffling shadow on nature, mathematics, biology, and survival. So what can these shambling monsters teach us?” (Seifert 62) Before one can talk about zombies, one must first understand what a zombie is. The Oxford English Dictionary is known to be the most comprehensive dictionary in existence, its definition for the word ‘zombie’ may not be up to date anymore. In the dictionary, it describes a zombie as one of the Vodou zombies from Africa and Haiti and not any of the un-dead creatures seen today. Informally, zombies nowadays are described as a very aggressive, reanimated human corpse that is driven by a biological sickness or infection (Mogk 5-6). The effects these informal zombies have on people are starting to show in recent generations from young children up to grown adults. Whether these changes are for the better or not remains to be unseen but to prevent these changes to worsen, the portrayal of zombies in media should be changed to positively affect current generations.
“Grrrraaaahhh” someone behind me yelled. I yelped loudly as I jumped and turned sharply around. There stood another zombie with a bright red mask who was also wearing a dark black cloak. But this zombie had a bloody axe in one hand causing me to scream very loudly. As I bolted in the opposite direction back out the entrance. I ran in between 2 of the arcade booths, then looked over my shoulder and sighed in relief as I realized this zombie hadn’t followed me.
In conclusion, I taught you what food to eat, what people to trust, and how to care for yourself. So even though it seems exhausting it really is not when you get the hang of it so just sit back and relax because, if the zombie apocalypse is coming it is not coming soon . On the bright, side even though you will look or sound like a weirdo, who is going to be laughing because they got eaten by zombies because they did not listen to you. So there you have it, you are now ready for the zombie
I had something in my hand; it was a gun, I could use this to protect myself. I walked in the dark corridors I peaked out of the wall, and I saw five guys armed with AK-47. I knew that I was screwed. I looked around to see another way out to pass the guys. I climbed into the vent and crawled for a long time. Inside of the vent, it was covered with dust, to my left of me was a spider. I could not believe, but I saw a light end of the vent.
It felt like years. Every so often a rat would come up and i would catch them and eat them to survive. I felt myself becoming very very weak it became difficult to even open my eyes every day. I was sure I was going to die, I could feel it. I started thinking what would have happened if I would have just accepted my fate, and burned to death by the closing firey walls. I would have died faster that is for sure. I would not be suffering so much. I decided it was time to sleep once again so I layed down on the board and said to myself “I am never getting out of here” then I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep. I was later woken up by a conversation above. “How long ago did you close the walls?” The French General asked. “Well sir, it has been about two weeks” Bob explained to the General. There was a long pause and then the General asked “I mean are you sure he is dead?” They must have walked away cause I could not hear them any longer. Once the voices faded away I thought for sure I was going to die down here. I lost all hope and immediately regretted not allowing the walls to crush and burn me to
Billy Thompson and Sam Westfield were similar in many ways. Since a young age they both has excelled at sports and both loved more then anything, the sport of football. While growing up, the boys did not know each other and probably thought they would never have too. But all of that changed with the diagnosis.
It isn’t harsh yet. Now hear this! Outside the vampire cities is a deserted world overrun by Rabids. These guys aren’t your regular zombies; these zombie-like creatures are faster and are more vicious. You’d definitely prefer being dinner for a vampire than running into them.
This is the armageddon. You are entirely alone in this outrageous city. Exactly what's even more every little thing you could see around you is a living dead.
Why me? what did I do? I try to increase the chance of rescue, keep everyone safe and now I'm forced to hide in this dark, wet, jungle. I am absolutely terrified and I feel as though I am a small animal being preyed on by a gigantic beast. I can hear footsteps and quiet chanting in the distance; the noises are getting closer.
Me, Donna, my daughter, Gina, and her friend, Jenny got stranded in the middle of one of the most dangerous places in the world. There was nothing even remotely green, the place was a desert, and it had an area of 3 million acres. We were going to drive to a landmark but we must have taken a wrong turn once we hit the mountains, I tried the GPS but that got us more lost. Then our supplies including gas ran out and we have been walking ever since.
A calm crisp breeze circled my body as I sat emerged in my thoughts, hopes, and memories. The rough bark on which I sat reminded me of the rough road many people have traveled, only to end with something no one in human form can contemplate.
Zombies have now changed yet again. They are no longer scary. Zombies’ purpose now is to serve as an hour and
I just left the party for preppy rich kids, which to my dismay I was a part of, my father is an owner of a super successful oilrig. Thinking about what had happened, the douchebag who was my boyfriend hooking up with some girl from our college, shaking my head in disgust. I look up and notice that I’m in the rougher part of town, I stop a moment and think about the path I took to get here but I can’t remember, then I start to think about what ways I can get back to my house. While I’m racking my brain this shadow of a person appears out of Will’s Market, from this distance I can’t tell if they are looking at me. Then I come to the painful realization that one I’m standing under the only street light and two I’m wearing a nice bright pink shirt and bright white pants. After this thought runs through my head I whisper “f*****g h*ll whats my luck”. I decide that it’s no use trying to run or hide if they come they come.
It was just a normal day. I was living at home with only me, John, and my mom. My dad had died trying to protect the village from a wild animal from the forest. My mom wanted me to go to the market and get some food. So I did. As I made it to the market I could see all of the things being traded. I went to were the food was being traded and traded some stuff for some food. As returned home I noticed a couple of strange voices I didn’t notice. I walked into the house. It got dead silent. Then all last I heard were gunshots until everything went black.
It was like any other day I had so far. It was the middle of summer and I had nothing to do. I had just finished watching the last episode of the Walking Dead. So now I was left thinking, “What should I do?” I was in my room, staring at the orange walls, then at the baseball themed ceiling fan from my childhood. I watched it spin like the blades of a helicopter.
