My Views Ever since I can remember, I’ve been attracked to the screaming bleachers and the Friday night lights. Finally after several years I was able to play this sport I’ve been drawn to since a young age. After my first football game, I realized that there is a lot more to football than cheering bleachers and bright lights One question I am asked when the topic is brought up is, “why do you play football?”. One reason I play football is because it is a great way to pass the time. If your anything like me, I have nothing to do at my house, so when I play football is when time seems to go by the fastest. Another reason why I play football is because it is a great way to make new friends. By playing football since my seventh grade year, I’ve made more friends from every school I’ve played against than the amount of friends I have from my own school. …show more content…

One of the things I get out of football is that it relieves stress. From running so much, doing so many drills, and hitting people takes your mind off of all the other things running around in your mind. Another thing I get from being in football is that it helps me stay more athletic and helps for any other sport I decide to play and even contributes to next years football season. One more helpful thing you get from football is that it gives you a healthier body.
